1 question What is your favorite color on a bass and guitar: ?)
-
Ronnie Cremmer was one of Ms. Swifts first guitar teachers .he is a friend of mine He wasn't a good guitar player 20+ yrs ago Honestly he still isn't .I guess a shitty guitar teacher taught her more than he knew. How ? Don't care I'm from Reading Pa. Lived in West Reading.TS home town. Her music is not my kind of .music I'm going to make a guess and say my music is not your kind of music. To each their own right I'm a METALHEAD . No I don't worship the devil Have fangs and I wish the Name Taylor Swift wouldn't spend so much time in my topics . PS if you were in a symphony Orchestra and couldn't remember the names of the musicians that share the stage with you. It's easy actually Have a good one. : ?)

I didn't know mtv is still with us When mtv was young it was an impartial network. whatever music we liked mtv was the place you'd find it.. But like most good things that have come out of the US in the past 20+ yrs Music especially is pushed down throats with profit being the only measure of success.

Present day Solo performers I have no or little interest unless they are a "miracle " what I think is proof of God " Musical savants like Derek Paravicini , The Young LUCY I think also from England can bring tears to my eyes . Any way "I know what I like" I like what I know BANDS
-
Nope Don't know how to cut and paste I simply posted the many points in the Beato video I agree with. A few Solo performers have extremely high quality talents. I don't listen to them I'm a fan of the bands ,original bands It's my personal opinion and experiences Bands are more fun than a solo performer

Bands have completely disappeared from the charts in the U.S. and the UK charts are dominated by Solo performers , Duos , collaborations of solo performers etc etc. IN the first half of the 80s there was 146 wks in which BANDS were # 1 In the first half of the 90s there were 146 wks that a BAND was # 1 In the first 5 years of this Decade Bands had only 3 wks at # 1 Bands writing their own songs began disappearing In the late 90s / early 2000s Boy bands starting appearing like BS Boys - N sync had co writer/producers and writer/producers who would write their big hits. It also started happening in Rock music this writer/producer - co writer/producer We started seeing bands like AEROSMITH who had their biggest hit ,& only # 1 written by someone else. In the late 90s - early 2000s ROCK BANDS were consistently having a writer/producer write their songs. People in the know are convinced this is one of the factors that led bands into oblivion. By 2010 it just wasn't worth signing Band If you go to the top 50 chart for the U.S. It's literally all solo artists. Out of the top 400 artists in ranking of monthly listeners . Out of the 400 artists there were only the first group formed in the last 10 years 3 bands were created in the last 10 yrs. The first band created in the last 10 years is Grupp Frontera all the way down at #135 on the charts. That's less than 1% that's 3 bands formed in the last 10 years out of 400. Sooooo If you're aim is to be rich and famous DON'T JOIN OR BE IN A BAND. YOUR CHANCES ARE BETTER SOLO. enjoy the life always wondering if ya actually have. 1 TRUE friend I wonder if thats what ? That must suk what a shame By Rick Beato

Almost everyone that replied Didn't quite get it My bad I should've been more clear as to the question. I know I know ,go ahead you can say it . damn American : ? )

I'm familiar with the song I guess you're referring to T.S. "you belong with me . Compares to symphony. no 9 That's definitely subjective , fans of Beethoven would most likely say "absolutely NOT" while fans of Taylor S. Probably would say "absolutely". I'm from Reading Pa , West Reading Pa. where Taylor Swift was born and lived until she was 12 . A friend of mine Ronnie Cremmer was a guitar player, we jammed with and honestly no one thought he was a good guitar player. He really wasn't. taught T.S. guitar.. when she was living in West Reading. I was just talking to Ronnie a few months ago. I hadn't seen him in about 20 - 25 yrs. That's the first time I ever heard that he taught TS guitar when she was a young girl. Again he wasn't a good guitar player. I guess he was a better teacher. Nobody back then especially me never heard the name TS. But we all hear her name now don't we. And by we I mean the entire planet. Good for her . By the way I'm an EAGLES fan Taylor Swifts boyfriend is on the CHEIFS Taylor is gonna be sad on Sunday. :?) Oh I don't think a comparison of the best known musical genius ever in the world almost 300 yrs dead . With Taylor Swift an obviously loved singer/songwriter. It would be someone's personal option Not fact. Thus being SUBJECTIVE. unfortunately your reply had nothing to do with the " the song nobody knows about" I hope my reply to you isn't taken the wrong way. I appreciate you C.C.

I shouldn't have to explain this again People people people Please don't be so serious You wouldn't find it pretty funny if Stanley Clarke said he loves playing SLAYER when he's alone. Or if B.B. King once said he loves playing MOTLEY CRUE It would be Kool , and definitely make me laugh. And They would probably think it's pretty funny too It's not about secretly liking the carpenters Im a METALHEAD, I played HEAVY HARD TECHNICAL AND FAST music . that's all you've ever heard me play And I told you I love playing the Carpenters It's FUNNY. My favorite color is a secret. 🤪 lol

I played 100s and 100s of shows over the 40+yrs I've playing Bass. I've played in front of an audience of 9 people up to a crowd of , ? 60 - 80 maybe more at lalapalooza in 93 at JFK Stadium in PHILADELPHIA We were invited into the stadium did a 15 min. 3 song set on a sidestage . Our manager/booking agent/roadie/driver got us shows with powerman 5000 , Gwar Type O negative, savatage , pantera . in the early 90s. Released our first full release DISRESPECT in 95 , then on a compilation cd of American metal bands released in mainly European countries. We were Never paid a penny for the song we wrote specifically for the compilation. LOL. Parted ways with FA in ? 96/97. Played club circuit with a top 40 cover band for two tortuous yrs. 00 to 02. С 2003 по 2009 год я возил свои бас в Турцию Италию и Россию . Just wanted to play bass in foreign countries. My bass and I traveled to RUSSIA and being a native English speaker helped my teacher friends students in learning the English language , by playing American music, my music. They were taught the lyrics and they would sing in English. My guitar and bass and songs from Led Zep , Nirvana , motley Crue, rage against the machine . The stones etc etc helped Russian students from 8 to 30 to whatever age learn something different from kings English they learned American English, a big difference. The most fun I've ever had was playing American music for. 2012 FATAL AGGRESSION asked me to be their Bass player again , for the first time in almost a decade all the original members except the original singer were going to be in FA again. I was not the original Bass player but was the bass player they wanted in F.A. we practiced for 2 months did one small show before our 1st "WE'RE BACK" show with FATES WARNING HATE ,and a local band starting the show. It was a long night of the loudest crowd , the heaviest of metal, the hottest of the hot in degrees it was more than 23°C 75 °F I met MIKE PORTNOY of Dream Theater at the bar . He was there to see Fates Warning not Us . I did 15 shows with FA . It was a great time But I was a tired dude. Said my I'm out to my boys. I haven't played a live show in 4 yrs And I'm ready to get back out there I NEED A BAND I really really want to be out there playing with an original metal band .
