I was hoping that someone experimented with this already, but if not I will write him and share the news -
Nordstrand Quad Coil pickups conversion to 8 wires?

Nordstrand Quad Coils (ie. MM 4.4, Big Splitman) have four wires but there are 8 soldering pads visible. Would it be possible to wire the 4 remaining pads and have an 8 wire pickup so I could test all the possible connections? I don't have one- thinking of buying if that's the case as I want to test it with double filter preamp with one MM pickup.
