2.
Sorry, the bass went looong time ago..
You might want to add a "sold" type comment to the thread title then...
do not sell it unless you really have to. You may regret it more than you realize at this point in time.
True. The market is very slow at the moment, which is great if you are a buyer.... but difficult if you want to sell. A couple of years ago you might have got close to three grand for this bass, but now? Keep it if you can
  4. That's a beauty! For a "budget" bass, that has an immaculate finish...
  5.
If this was active, id have given it a shot. Really intrigued by acg
At this price, it would be worth buying it then popping down the M74 to Moffat to see if Mr ACG could fit you an active circuit! Lovely bass.... not interested in trades at all, I suppose?

If this bass is actually for sale, you should place a "proper" advert in the "basses for sale" section. You have to pay to do this, but if you are looking to make around £1600-2000 on your sale, you shouldn't mind coughing up £7 to advertise it! Lovely bass BTW
  7.
Such a great head. For bass guitar these things sound fantastic, are mega loud, and built like tanks. Future classic. And stupidly cheap. Don't be put off by the price, you could play this amp for the rest of your life and not miss out on anything.
Great review - and absolutely true!
  8.
I'm after a P/J or J passive, pref. Fender (MIJ?)
I have a 2009 MIJ Fender Geddy Lee Jazz that I might be interested in trading.... it has EMG pickups but the bass itself (i.e. electronics and tone circuit) is passive. If you are interested, can you tell me a bit more about the kind of sounds that your Warwick can produce? I've never even played one, never mind owned one!
  9.
that nice little fill that Joe Bouchard does in the middle of BOC's 'Godzilla'.
Good call! Always liked that.
  10.
I stuck on a set of 50- 110s a few months back.
Ah. Proper man's strings
  11.
What's with the Fragile labels? I thought these cabs were meant to be tough?
Didn't you know? You get a free CD from the Yes back catalogue with every Barefaced cab ordered. The label is merely to remind Alex's staff which disc is secreted in which box.
  12.
There seems to lots of love out there for the Barefaced cabs, but you must have 2 x 15....
Yep! I love my Vintage to bits. A big, loud 2x15 that I can carry in one hand. What's not to like?
  13.
Far better for someone with good hearing to do a review.
Quote of the month!!
  14.
Does this mean that Steve Harris will come round to my house and leave a precision head on my pillow while I sleep?!!
Yes! And he might tell you how to spell 'sacrilege' too!!

What bass is it? Did it come with the preamp or was it a retrofit?
  16.
I am off to Bass Direct later...
No, not Warwick!

Cheap batteries tend not to last as long. There could be a wiring fault... have you looked inside to check for a short-circuit of some kind? Or get a technician or luthier to do it for you. 6 or 7 hours use is pretty terrible, even for cheap rechargeables!
  18.
Wrong mate
Wrong how? I thought that was a pretty accurate evaluation of the Scott Thunes situation? What else do you know?
  19.
This is usually caused by me taking a swig between numbers and the band starting the next song before I,m ready!!
Oh yeah. Been there myself...
  20.
The guy who traded with me put it up for sale a couple of weeks later, and I asked if I could buy it back, even pleaded with him but he refused - I have absolutely no idea why - I was devastated. What a total git.
Weird! Was that someone on here?
  21. I'm interested in this too, so I await the replies eagerly!
  22. Oh, I've always wanted one of these! It would look stunning perched on top of my Vintage.... Damn you AT!!
  23. I much prefer to use the terms 'deep' and 'shallow' rather than 'thick' and 'thin' to describe the distance from front to back on a neck. Makes much more sense to me anyway! Consequently, my Status has a wide but shallow neck.
