  1. Thanks for the ideas, I'll have a try. I was rather hoping to just use a 4 string Jazz though, I prefer the 4 string spacing
  2. To add some history, I own a Tobias Toby Pro 6er, but the B is really quiet loose, and thats 34"
  3. whoops, my mistake I have a spare B lying around, its just the work needed to adjust the nut, and then if it doesnt work out, im left with a ruined nut
  4. Does anyone know how well a Squier Jazz bass would handle being set up for B-E-A-D? is the B string going to be too floppy? if so can anyone suggest a decent mid price J-style with 35' scale?

  15. Looking for a CIJ Fender Jazz, preferably in Olympic White or similar with an active pre-amp, but not essential. PM me with your wares :] Will include owners manual inc. all tools provided, straplocks, and a Warwick gig-bag I've owned this bass from new, about two years ago. There is slight buckle rash on the underside of the bass, and one grey scratch on the upper horn. It has visited Andertons [where I purchased it] once, to be re-strung and set-up for BEAD. I have since re-adjusted it to EADG, including trussrod and saddle adjustments. ALSO. I'm having a little trouble with the active pre-amp, but I think this is down to the battery. I'll get a new one today and see if that works. Will
