1. Jack White makes some very good points in 'It Might Get Loud' (doco on guitar on youtube), whilst technology indeed makes music easier, it destroys emotion in a song. It all makes me laugh while he's sat opposite the Edge and his forklift maneuvered rack setup
2. I've been considering 5 strings for a while now... and this would be the way to do it

4. Timmy C on Evil Empire Brian Gibson on Colossus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybrTlJOOBas Bottlenose Dolphins, a drums and bass duo. The bassists tone is really grindy. Check out Magic Bullets to get a sense http://www.myspace.com/bottlenosedolphins
5. Holy carp, this was one of the first EUB's I ever saw, and Jean was a HUGE influence on me from hearing his first solo record. And Nuclear Rabbit for that fact. How did this come into your possession?

9. why can I not find any clips of the bushy bison on oootube? am I being special
10. How about two inputs into one head? Run a mic to a pre and into an active socket and run your bass through passive (or visa versa). Would that work?
11. Gareth is a gentleman, provided me with excellent advice on revalving my LB and hopefully some very creamy valves for it . A credit to basschat. Cheers!
12. There's a lot of reggae and a lot of funk that's throwaway, as in all other genres. However, as 'samey' as reggae can be, there's some quality bass lines in there. 'Tubbys Dub Song' being a prime example, not just root fifths but really intricate playing. Playing reggae through the right rigs also a big essential. A mate of mine who I used to make some dubs with had a 3,000watt sound system he built in his shed. Running my bass through that was thunderous! Funks one of those things where I enjoy noodling my own stuff, but wouldn't actively go and seek a record to listen to

15. interested in a swap for a Groove Regulator?
16. I'm currently mid way through recovering the cabinet for my Little Bastard, wanting to cover it in Fender style cloth tweed. What are the main hassles with working with cloth? I'd imagine that when cutting it would fray? Also can someone recommend a glue to use? Poly cement seems to be too much, someone has suggested wallpaper paste in another forum, but I fancy your opinions. Cheers! Will
17. MXTabs forum? Sounds like their style
