Dub - is that honeyburst? Im thinking of having binding, prob not matching headstock, and normal Pickups for that full sound. The factory have a blueburst and a sunburst with binding in right now, but I think I can wait the 8 - 12 weeks for one to be made... What ultimate G&L would you go for then?

I got serious GAS for an L2500 now! Cant decide what colour to go for but am gonna get one made, with a flame top, RW board, but just gotta decide on colour, I really like these 2 so far...

Some nice basses up here. I just took a few of my old workhorse 1995 Teal 5, has a real nice grain so got a clear plate for it, rusty polepieces from many sweaty gigs... Sound has mellowed with time, but still sounds great!

I think this price is just right, + I think it is the same bass I imported from a guy in the states, i paid about that for it including import, then sold it on to Tom for about the same money. They are very rare thou! Nice bass, good luck with the sale. -
I have the Yamaha N8 and Ithink for the money is a great buy, mine was £550 but soundcontrol were selling em for much cheaper recently! Great sounding preamps, eq and reverb, indeed it is a pleaseure to own (for now!). it comes with cubase 4 le which is a very nice sweetener, although it is limited in some ways, it would be perfect tool to use/learn. It made me want to upgrade and I picked up fullblown Cubase 4 for about £200 of Ebay! Do it, spend yer money, its fun! mB

Its a funny old world, watching your ex gear finding new homes! I love the internet and this website! I traded this combo for Mikes epi/agi rig, which is great! I had a mark 15 cab to go with this combo and it was a good combination! Cheers, Benn -
