  1. Busted. I took the phrase “horses for courses” far too literally.
  2. Sounds dope man! Love the vibe.
  3. Well there’s a declaration if ever I heard one! Much appreciated good sir, I have dropped you a DM.
  4. Nah you are indeed accurate. I misread. Long day 😅
  5. Well of course you may as you’ve asked so nicely. Invited by a chap from my work as I hit the brief…ie 4 string in the arsenal. And a few people in the hot sauce thread were apparently interested in chatting as well so multiple birds with one stone. Also thought it might be a good avenue to explore looking for stand-ins if we ever need them for the covers band I play in. Below is my Sterling alongside my LP. Rig-wise, fairly non existent at the moment. I’m very much a home jammer when it comes to bass these days so it’s either my Spark amp or if I’m messing around on a laptop I use the trusty Cory Wong Neural DSP plugin.
  6. I’m gonna caveat this by obviously cheap plugging one of our own as well as another option If it’s just straight up heat I’d go for something with a really pared back ingredients list (chillies, acid and not a lot else). Some of the hotter single chilli variants like the naga or scorpion sauces from Wiltshire Chilli Farm are really nice. But *PLUG WARNING* our Judgement Neigh Sauce is a blend of 4 peppers, lime juice, a little onion and not a lot else. Good universal heat but something that’s there to compliment rather than overpower.
  7. These cheap Gretsch’s just look so damn good. Hard agree on the black hardware. That’ll really complete the look on this beauty.
  8. I’ll always vouch for HB. I’ve had my Fusion II about 4 years and it’s my main gigging guitar now. Unreal bit of kit for the money.
  9. Apparently so but you need to post 5 posts to get access so I’m working on it.
  10. https://nobodyever.bandcamp.com/album/everyone-stood-by-the-side-of-the-road I’ve played in a cover band for ages now so recordings are few and far between but this is the last originals band I played bass in. Have a peruse and enjoy. I’m actually in a project with two of the guys from this band now but playing guitar instead of bass.
  11. Going to send this on to the bassist in our band because that is a stunner!
  12. Afternoon all. Name’s Chaz. Based in Leicestershire and play in a local covers band The Stop Startz. Perennial G.A.S. problem but currently rocking a Sterling Ray4 alongside a host of 6 strings. Co-Founder of a hot sauce brand. First round dropout on Masterchef. Looking to chat gear, chat sauce (been recommended to an hot sauce thread by a co-worker) and potentially look a sub-in’s for gigs around the Leicestershire area. Hope everyone is having a spectacular Tuesday!
