  1. I see. So Squire it is then. Thank you all for the answers and suggestions, you helped a ton. Have a nice day :]
  2. I see a lot of people like it and some don't. I also watched that review and guy in that says it's below average for the price tag and I don't really get it what's better when I couldn't find anything.
  3. Thank you for the response, I know about distortion and things, just was wondering about the raw potential of the guitar itself. I guess Squier Vibe is my primary goal then but I was also suggested IIBANEZ GSR205 with EMG 40 and I don't really know what EMG is but I'm not sure it's gonna be better then Squier Vibe. Thank you again :]
  4. The thing is I checked out ton of them and can't make my decision cause I only played acoustic so there is no electronics and those differences. I stopped at choosing between YAMAHA BB235 (PJ) and Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jazz Bass V. But I appreciate your suggestions :] Only one thing I'd like to know is the sound of PJ would be comparable to the video I linked? Like would it be possible to achieve at least 90% same sound or should I just go with Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jazz Bass V?
  5. Hello there. I don't know much but I really want to play bass in metal genre. My favorite bassist is Hara so I'd like the sound to be the closest to that. I want exactly not used 5 string passive bass. I've heard 5 string might be hard but I have an acoustic guitar I play everyday so I think it's not gonna be that bad. I've also read that HH can be turned into JJ with some wire manipulation but I'll 100% mess that up. I guess closest to Hara sound would be J-J so if anyone could suggest guitar (<360$) or maybe not that good guitar but upgradable to that level, I'd be really happy. Thank you in advance :] Also if there is no good guitar in such price tag (<360$) then I'd also like to know better options cause I really want it to sound nice for me to want to play it. (and please don't write something like "Try them out in the shop.", I'm here cause I can't).
