1. might be possible with looper with a stereo output by panning each output ? dunno ..
2. no worries. Max does custom jobs too, it could be worth contacting him if you don't find anything off-the shelf.
3. this might be what you're after. http://www.sfxsound.co.uk/mainpage.asp?page=h1
4. not sure if i could part with my maracas. i've grown used to playing with them when i'm not bassin'
5. yep. as above. worth keeping a bass though, as a composition tool if nothing else.
6. just spotted one on here in the for sale section. don't know if it'll cover your requirements, but worth a look. http://basschat.co.u...aylooper-pedal/ edit : although it'll only do 20 seconds of what you're after, so maybe not.
7. 'looper' pedals are what you're looking for. the Boss series are popular - RC-2, RC20xl, and the newer series, RC-3 & RC-30. other makes are available, Digitech, Akai and more, no doubt. just do a google on looper pedals and they'll turn up. a used RC-20xl will be around the £140 mark (i think). an RC-2 will be less than that. the advantage with the newer ones, like rhe RC-30 are not only more memory space, but the ability to hook up to a PC via Usb, and use samples, drum loops etc
8.
"Green Naugahyde" by Primus. Quite predictable by Primus standards, but still pretty odd by everyone else's.
superb. can't think of a better word.

11.
What, 'It's not something to be proud of; Tuberculosis'.?
worst case scenario, tb stands proud of you.
12.
It's TB and here for me.
Tuberculosis is not something to be proud of. (it's the other way 'round)
13. glad to be of service. pass the Wensleydale. I'm crackers anyway, so no need to pass anything else.

15. is it just me. or do they all look slightly like Wallace ?
16. bump for mine. how about that ? like waiting for a bus - none around for ages, and then two appear at once ! get'em whist they're hot ! (withot paying Pasty Tax)
17. Get thee to a Nunnery !
18.
Love it, might need to confiscate that for myself with a few embellishments. But if anyone slabbers about being on Basschat. You could always say there is a forum for them HERE
man, i did not need to click on that link. makes me feel better for being a BC'er though, as opposed to being just a WK'er
19.
Does anyone know if it's possible to modify the M-80 so the DI out is before the effect, rather than after? So it could be used for a clean DI and a distortion in front of an amp at the same time?
i thught it had a parralel out ? but it's a long time since i had one.. a sound engineer should have a di with jack input for that.
20.
The listing mentions £95 posted (UK presumably?). I have a v3 and it's brilliant!
yes , sorry that's £95 uk posted, but am willing to send further afield. PM me for any queries.
21.
Ah, ok. That's too much for me at this point.
no worries, thanks for the interest. if you want a cheaper clone of this little beauty, you could opt for the Joyo version. i think it's called the 'ultimate drive' or some such.. not wanting to ruin my own sale here, as i'm sure plenty of people would prefer the original, particularly guitarists. the Joyo one has a different gain structure from what i've heard of it, but may suit you.
22. you may not need them for pub rock duties, unless it's a cover of a track that specifically uses bass fx. if you have an amp that won't do overdrive, then that may be called for. all depends on what you're playing. if you're into funk, then an auto-wah/envelope filter may be a cool addition. once you start with fx, you may end up a 'junkie', like some of us.. edit : when i had a crap combo amp, i used an Aphex bass x-citer to beef it up. this pedal doubles as a DI, so is a great little box that you can pick up relatively cheap second-hand.
23. the other day, i was doing an improv jam with a couple of mates. we always record our ideas, and listen back to the results for ideas. listening back, i now realise that my bass-line is frighteningly close to a track from the 'war of the worlds' musical, that my dad used to play to death when i was a kid. anyone else here thought they'd made something up, only to realise their blatant plaigirism ?
