the OC-2 is great, but quite synth-like (square wave). if that's what you're after, look no further. if it's a more natural sound you're after, i like the Aguilar Octamizer.

good man. it's a computer. persevere ! make sure to connect it via midi to a drum machine or similar to get the best out of it's capabilities. .. and then put the click out to the drummer. perfect synch.
