1. wooohoooh ! got one today. that's my gas sorted for at least a week. ..now off to ruin the neighbours' evening..
2. this is well worth a read, and a simultaneous giggle.. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f36/its-no-f...x-words-807191/
3.
I've always loved an open G string, its got a nice ring to it
excellent.
4.
I have a hot female model lined up for some future products...
i said 'matching', not 'hot' ! no.. you're lovely really, if you like that look..
5. Ped, you need to do that 'point to the horizon' thing that they do in bad catalogues. oh, and a matching female model would be good too.
6. i use one mainly for practising along to, although will probably use it in the 3-piece instrumental band, so the drummer can switch to guitar occasionally. it's an Alesis SR-16. great sounds and plenty of scope, although step editing can be tiresome. they go for £40-£50 used. otherwise, use software if you've got a convenient laptop as a less limiting portable solution.
7.
Usually I'd edit it - but it's too funny to change
that's what i thought, it gave me a chuckle this morning so cheers Shep !
8.
As I'm selling my SuperSynth, if you dingo down that route, I'll sell you my adapter for the MB.
sorry dude, had to be done !
9. i'm also having some luck with my octavius squeezer at this type of thing, by using the same sound on different patches running at different lfo rates, but the user interface can drive you bloody insane. edit : and of course, it can't be controlled by an expression pedal. also awaiting the source audio b.e.f.pro, i'll see what that can do.
10.
Insufficiently extreme. If you're going to do it, do it properly. ... Maybe shape the headstock like a huge bottle opener.
a bottle opener would, indeed , be it's only saving grace.
11.
I hope it doesn't get funding then I'll get a loan and make it myself and make thousands, THAT'S CAPITALISM.
..that is a very valid insight to CAPITALISM. pass GO! and collect your £200.
12.
Yeah i was interested in this, but it seems a little unrealistic to get that much funding. Good luck to them though..if it comes out i will probably defiantly buy one!
in that case, ..back the project.. !
13. there are a few more youtube vids on this pedal now, for those interested. here's another good one.
14. good on ya ! it always pisses me off that it takes a few songs to 'settle in'. it's like half of the set is over before i'm actually enjoying it. ..more gigs needed.
15. [sub]err.. is this still available ?[/sub]
16.
I love the sound of this... 20k needed though? :0
at the current rate of uptake 20k is unlikely to be reached, but i'm hoping it may go ahead anyway without all of that being pledged. i'm no optimist by any stretch of the imagination, but let's see..
17.
Oh yeah! Sheer lust given there is no way I need a filter this powerful. Maybe I am not too late for dubstep!
or post-dubstep .. edit : i do sooo hate genre names, but there we go.
18. for anyone who may be interested.. here's the concept http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deviev...ep-guitar-pedal it requires a starter support pledge, which tbh may mean that it doesn't happen, but i'm hoping. if it doesn't happen you don't pay, if it does, you do. credit cards are brilliant !!! oh ! and it will do triplets. booyaka !!!
19.
Pleasant surprise after being told no restock till 24 October. The following items have been shipped to you today: =================================================== 001.00 SOURCE AUDIO SOUNDBLOX PRO BASS ENVELOPE Bass FX Pedal - 23 filter sounds control for Effectan, Sweep Range, Frequenz, Speed uad Mix, switch for Preset Bank, Modulation and for Tap Tempo, 6 programmable presets, , amount: 1 pc(s) Simply cannot wait to get my hands on this monster. Anyone else got one yet or due to get one? That along with Taylor Livingston emailing this morning to say my Frantabit has shipped means, woo hoo baby pedal heaven!
me too, got the text today !! made me one happy bunny for the day. can't wait !
20.
Seen the vids. Looks and sounds good. I'm wary of it not having a tone control. Any comments from users as to whether it's required?
i'd say no it doesn't matter. there are three distinct modes which seem to od different bandwidths. i tend to use the 'thin' one mostly, as it's more mid-based. the other two modes are much more 'rounded', and capable of deep fuzz sounds too. ..but i also tend to preshape my eq anyway, either with the tone controls onboard or with my hartke vxl pedal. just buy it, i really can't see anyone being disappointed with it.
21. no, but a great idea ! i usually get mine (sub or not)conciously from a horn part/ guitar part , whatever. i see no reason why vocals should not provide inspiration.
22. .. and as for Nurdling, i would expect to kick the asses of mrs' Claypool, Wooten, Hamm and partners. i knew i was good at something. oh! and i'd drink them under the table any lunchtime/evening/whenever. bring 'em on (as long as they're paying)
23. mmm... when it comes to holes, i get the feeling that flea may have won the war, sorry wayne..
24. she's got massive tits. ..well you did ask..
25. big QSO fan here (t'was our wedding reception music of choice)! not so much of Quantic's solo stuff, but there we go..
