hi i use the same amp as you. the amp d.i. is fantastic, so you don't need the sans-amp for that (unless as back-up, but with twin-channel pre-amp that's unlikely) you will struggle to get dirt out of the amp though, as even the tube channel is a bit clinical sounding. i did use the sans-amp bddi, but found it a bit 'cold' sounding with the shuttle 12.0 (too much mid-scoop, which the amp can do very well on it's own) the Hartke vxl or the mxr m-80 are better suited for getting more warmth or grit out of this amp IMO (and both offer DI) the mxr has a great blendable distortion if that is required, but the Hartke does really nice crunch and has a great pre-shape. price-wise the Hartke wins hands-down. so it's a case of horses for courses.

No Doubt some cracking deep basslines too
I've seen ERB - Extended Range Bass refering to 5 or more strings. But WTF is EUB?
an electric erection. u = upright. -
Don't buy the Diago one, buy this instead: http://www.johnnyshredfreak.com/store/inde...;products_id=12 It's identical and a fraction of the price. I've compared both and they really are the same, they must both buy them from the same manufacturer. I know the Diago one says it's 3A and the Johnny Shredfreak one says 1500ma but the manual for the Johnny Shredfreak one says it can go up to 3A. I have two (total overkill) and they've been great.
nice one for the info. i'll probably get one as a back-up ! there probably should be a power supply thread pinned.
I didn't think I could power the 12v Markbass units from it.
i use up to 9 x 9v pedals and my mb comp & 18v mxr blowtorch (special daisychain adaptor required) on two daisy chains. if i had more pedals i'd plug them in too ! they're tiny, but great units and there's no reason that you couldn't have more than one 12v pedal inline that i know of... they have no 24v compatability, so the bms would need it's own supply, but still, a lot less bulk.

i take it you didn't go for the diago p.s. then ? that and a 24v adaptor for the EHX BMS should have it covered
Is anyone on here capable of fixing my EHX Q-Tron pedal? I took it to bits a while ago to rehouse it, and have since lost the gut shots I took as a reference and the will to complete this project. I am am looking for someone that could put it back together, mod it for true bypass and possibly rehouse it in a small enclosure. If anyone can help that would be great.
for the effort (& postage) involved in your project, it may pay off to just buy another filter ? i know that sounds harsh. repair should be cheaper, but may not prove to be ..

this just goes to confirm why radio 6 is a good thing.

no need to thank me, just shake your arse. -
dunno , just sounds like an active bass recorded with a bit of amp gain to me (& eq on the mids) ? but for mild od on a pedal, i like the Hartke VXL with my MM Sterling. it has a sweepable pre-shape that just works nice with my set-up.
-
i may be wrong but i thought that early Anaal Nathrakh stuff was programmed .. no personal experience though. should work great if you can combine it with live drums. ask Dan Owens about clickstation perhaps.
-
awesome playing as usual. i just wish the recording was a tad better..
Hi Don & Bass Chat, Firstly, although bloody cold, stressed Eric, and at the same time very relieved that the Mayones has finally turned up, let me thank you for your kind efforts and the very postive and constructive comments from all the other bass chat members. THANK YOU ALL!!! I've just come in from walking around for the last 40 minutes or so with my girlfriend. We've been knocking at most of the neighbours doors in my village. To my surprise the neighbour across the road from me, came over and just delivered my bass!!!! He's the unknown chap who had signed for my bass yesterday!!! The Home Delivery driver had assumed that my neigbour knew me and didn't even ask for my neighbours details, ID etc., where I was or anything!! However my neighbour had signed receipt of the bass and had taken it back over to his house because he assumed that we were out at the time. Incedently my neighbour, which I've just found out, was about to go on shift at work as well. The really stupid thing about this Don is that I'd clearly stated my address to you and courier was trying to deliver my bass to No 5 which is my neighbours house. In actual fact I'd be in most of the day awaiting the arrival of this bass after several painfull telephone conversations with Home Delivery Network both Customer Service and the local Ipswich Depot. Our driveway is at the rear of our house and is shared be three other houses. My backgate is always bolted and locked because of my dog. The courier driver should have come to the front of the house, that's were my front door is!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! Thank God my neighbour was a genuine guy, he said the courier driver just assumed that leaving the bass and signing for the bass was acceptable for him. This is definitely something that I'm going to follow up on Monday. I'm issuing a formal complaint in writing to Home Delivery Network. I really do not feel that it is at all acceptable for a Company that has been contracted to deliver an item, whether or not its value should have just let anyone sign for this item, apart me!!!! I don't know whether their is a post or thread on this forum or not, but it would make complete sense to address couriers as a whole, especially ones like Home Delivery Network who have been contracted by Belgian Post to delivery this bass and at every step of the process have failed, apart from the fantastic result that I've got the bass and tonight and tomorrow I'm looking forward to playing it!!!!!!! Yours Relieved !!!! Marty NB The Bass by the way is fantastic
i'd collect anything (uninsured) over £1K or consider myself a numpty.
