Right, I got the Korg AX3000B earlier today, so I'll hopefully have had a proper good play around with it in the next couple of days, but I do have a lot of schoolwork to be doing, so time is somewhat tight. Assuming that the effects are in the order they're listed on the pedal (left to right) then it should be alright, as I'll probably be using it Octave>Fuzz>Filtron/Classic Flanger>Studio Reverb. Should sound the dogs danglies, I hope. Zach
yay ! look forward to it ! cheers
Nearest claim to fame was having a couple of my songs played by John Peel on Radio 1 in the early 80s ... sadly that was the closest I came ...
i take this to mean that your band was either really really good or just-plain-weird , so spill the beans, who, what and when ? oh and welcome !!
I went to my local EBMM dealer today, but as a result of a previous argument I have had with them, they very rudely told me to get lost. Wonderful.
sorry to hear that. try firing off an e-mither to http://www.stringsandthings.co.uk/ you probably know this already, but they are the distributors over here and will be able to recommend someone who can help. speak to them nicely though.

it 's all done on a dice roll..

DON'T PANIC. phone distributor. probably a simple solution to this involving nearest trusted MM dealer.
As the title says. I've sent this to the Akai Ask A Question. The Deep Impact synth bass pedal is still sought after and prices on ebay are usually always over £300.00 so there is obviously a market for it. Why won't Akai make it again? I'll post the reply.
i'm sure they're not stupid, and if they could make a commercial success of it they probably would. i think your question to them is a good idea. maybe a bass players 'petition' type-thing could help ? perhaps they need to know how much interest there is. and they could probably improve on it these days ..

back again ! having thought about it again, i can now say why having more control over the mids is better on your bass. you can tweak your sound whilst standing a good distance from your amp, other musicians/drummer etc.. so, get the best setting on your amp with a flat guitar tone, then turn up the amp, move away from it , and tweak the sound with your on-board tone controls. MM's have great diversity in tone., and 3 eq is just a bit more versatile than 2. for that edgy-sound. but, the same principle applies to both types. if you're not playing to cut through a band, none of this will matter.
-
3-band sterling + piezo for me. the middle gives extra 'growl'.,(not jazz growl, tee hee..) most eq. scenarios are now available without a visit to the amp. and that means dub to harcore punk via d'n'b. 2 or 3 eq. ? i guess it depends how much tonal diversity you require at fingertips length.
Hi folks, I need to upgrade by delay pedal and get a tremolo. Up for grabs is my Black Cat Bass Octave Fuzz. I will take £100 for the pedal - but would prefer a swap/trade. The Black Cat is a replica of the Maestro Bass Brassmaster (similar to the Melekko B:Assmaster). This is original Black Cat pedal. No longer in production and very difficult to find. Near mint condition (but for some very minor cosmetic scuffs on the front - see the pics attached).

True Bypass switching
AC adaptor jack (Boss PSA/Ibanez style) or internal 9V battery
Normal Volume, Effected volume, and Drive knobs
Two toggle switches: filter and Harmonic for various tones
Fuzz with octavia sound with excellent low end response.
Heavy duty steel metal enclosure about 4" x 6.5" and 2" high
These are the pedals I am interested in:-

Lovepedal Babyface (tremolo)
Lovepedal Echobaby
Catlinbread Semaphor (tremolo)
Boss DD-7
TC Electronic Nova Repeater
Retrosonic Analog Delay
Open to other suggestions!
