1.
sooo, your not interested in a trade for a westone gt bass then...
nice thought and thanks for the offer, but have you met my wife?
2. Andy now has a blast from the past, a very pointy Aria ZZB, easy to deal with, paid with folding & great comm's...what more could you wish for. enjoy that Aria!
3. Pete bought a 'blast from the past' Hohner Jack from myself, easy, smooth deal, great comm's and prompt payment, what more could you ask for. A+ basschatter thanks Pete
4. on hold pending the usual, thanks
5.
FWIW, your link to the Matsumoku page doesn't work. I LOVE their 404 page
fixed that now
6. on hold pending the usual, many thanks
7. I'm having a clearout again and trying to get down one bass, my RBX4-A2...I say that but... What is it: ...a Squier Precision Bass Special in Antique Burst with Tort' pick guard and rosewood neck, spec' below. This one is going to hurt. I first saw a clone of her being played at my local and thought, what a beautiful and useful bass I then started a search for a superclean one, it took me quite a while & had to kiss a few frogs (when I could find one for sale) to find this example. I may be wrong but I don't think they were made for too long in this colour combo', but I stand to be corrected? Colour is quite hard to photograph, sort of reddish burst fading to jet black, I've done my best to show this. http://www.musicians...ing-bass-guitar Condition:- I don't like or do 'road worn'. She is in as good condition for a used bass as you could wish for, she is that clean... any high lights on the photos are just that, no nasty dents and dings, lumps missing! These Squiers are meant to be a lower end bass but the build quality really is beautiful on this example, nicely finished slim and shallow jazz neck, sublime coloured burst, good low action, warm pups & stays in tune overnight, simply a very, very good jazz bass for those whom value function over marketing & aren't snobby about headstock decals....ohh and prefer the P body with a jazz neck with a vast selction of tones. She is bog standard (even the cap') bar the addition of some Jockomo jazz inlay decals....& yes, you really wouldn't know. All the controls work as they ought, volume/volume/tone work as they should and the truss rod works fine both ways, tuners work as they should, she is currently set up very low as I like. She has no nasty surprises. I have amps galore here so anyone whom wishes to have a test drive her and a cup of tea 'n biccy is most welcome. Tone:- Does the jazz thing just how one should, and the precision thing too, the pups are quite full, warm and rich. Nice, nasal and burpy bridge pup & on the front P pup proper smooth 'n deep but with the added mid-range punch of a P we all like. Location:- Banham in South Norfolk....local train station is Diss which is 80 minutes out of London Liverpool Street and I can pick you up with enough notice. Contact No:- 07753-495111 Post: Yes, my prefered and sucessful method is to ship in my hard case with buyer then returning the case, has worked ticketyboo thus far..cost is normally around £25.00 to the UK. Elementory Mr Watson....the more astute here will notice a lack of string silk on the E string. I fitted a new set of Fender strings, the E string was DOA, had a another set sent out but no silks (?!) and was in too much of a hurry to get back to playing her to fit the rest the strings are no more than few playing hours old. 14. I seem to remember someone posting a request for this tab or score and it got me looking sometime ago and couldn't find it either....erm, this must of been over 3 years ago fantastic intro and the rest isn't too shabby either, it's a very busy line played by Mario Manese (?) & quite a toughie one to play by ear, for me anyway. I found this tab on french site today, I've not had a chance to have a go, all I've done is da,da,da,da dee along to it and it seems in the right ballpark and may be of some help to someone? http://www.slappyto....sse.aspx?id=525
15. Thanks for that....no bids yet!?!
16. What are the necks like on these? Cheers guys
17.
They aren't bad, IMO. For what they cost, a little TLC (fret dress, etc.) makes them pretty good for a starter. Build quality can be patchy, so look carefully if you're tempted.
ive had 3 westfield precisions...all very good.

20.
That looks great with the white p/g and white knobs. I'd go with that.
stunning!
21.
Jazz neck fitted on this - I'm sure that will appeal to some. Do Squier do any other passive P's with a Jazz neck?
Squier precision special....jazz necked p with added j pup!
22. And boogie man....very tidy bass playing. You have received a YouTube video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGaQRpu_DiQ
23. Saw this last night....tone like a purring lion cub..and i like a band that doesn't take themselves too seriously! Hope the link works? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrKeP66dFgw
