In the Edit Personal Information section from My Controls, there will be box called "Custom Member Title". That's the badger. I'll also point out you don't get the option to edit it until you accrue a certain amount of posts, 250 to be exact, which you're not at yet. Also, searching would have furnished you with answers to this common question, like so: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...om+member+title
thanks man i know its an obvious one but my brain aint working at full speed right now it heading to 3 in the morning and ive got work at 8 cheers for the pointers appriecated dude

In mint condition and owned from new (2002), its a delight to play but am looking for something with a bit more punch. Price is £750 or possible swap for a 3EQ MM Stringray4. Based near Ascot. Thanks for looking!
very nice interested in any other basses apart from stingrays? does it come with a case?
-
I agree with the above comments. The pics are good (not great but they show it for what it is). There absolutely will be somebody who would kill for this bass. I like the reverse body personally but I'm put off by the 5 string factor. Other people will be the opposite, some will not like anything about it and some will really go for it. I think EBay is the way forward. Some stuff moves quickly on Basschat, other stuff takes a while. Good luck with it
looks like i've got it shifted for a highway one jazz havin to stick in a couple of quid in but think its an ok deal for a year old jazz -

never even thought to bring ebony and wenge into the mix i had a warwick with wenge very similar to rosewood to me but the ebony on the esp i had was absolutley amazing if it wasnt a 5 id have kept it that was the perfect feel of a fretboard smooth and solid as a rock if i could get that feel maple colour on my sandberg i'd be a happy man btw anyone ever had a fretboard refinished with different wood?
-
thought i'd see what the general opinion is on fretboard choice i'm a big fan of maple and if i've got a choice i'll go for it but ive recently ive ended up with more rosewood basses and guitars than i'd like. dont really know the differences tone wise they seem to play quite similar to me but just on looks the maple is the winner imho bit more info would be great thanks in advance
-
ive got a couple contenders for this crown first up my sandberg comes with an ugly ass s/plate removed it not improvement but plays and sounds awesome next up epiphone t-bird 5 reverse headstock and body this is as tasty as sticking marmite on a pickled egg but bangs out plenty tone ive got an atk to bridge is a bit bling but i quite like tbh let me know what you think
I did a little search, and folks on talkbass were swooning over the idea of a non reverse 5 string t-bird a few years back! Admittedly it's a little unusual, and a bit of a marmite one, but i believe very few were shipped to the uk, probably costed several hundred pounds when new in the early 90's
if only it was the early nineties never looked on talkbass is that an american site? i've had a mail bout a possible part x so fingers crossed it will take flight to bug someone else -
I don't think you've quite got hold of the 'fair but upbeat appraisal' bit yet. You might not think much of it, but others may love the look.
think your right man, doesnt flick my switch but no doubt someone will love them maybe try evilbay with a resevre or something maybe i'm being harsh and ive not gave it a chance -
ive had mine for a few years and its a treat but when i fancied upgrading i found a german company that done a replacement white pickup for it would imagine the bridge would be an upgrade option to, can't see the comparison to a precision neck i hate p basses and have quite small hands its very similar to a chubby mm neck to me just my opinion tho if you can try one do it the value for money is unparalled. remember the bridge allows through body and through bridge stringing i quite like the look but it could be painted if you fancy im sure, hope this helps
We'd need to see condition, where you advertised it (just on here or EBay too?) and whether it was realistically priced. I find loads of good quality pictures mixed with a fair but upbeat appraisal and a decent price will shift pretty much any gear. I suspect the main reason why it hasn't sold is because you've not maximised the sale's full potential in some way. Difficult to nail it without more info
ive had it on here for a while valueing its a problem. i know what it owes me but couldnt ask for that would be laffed of the forum and there isnt many about to get a rough idea of a price range. dont think it would sell on ebay tbh not the most desirable bass in the world bit of an aquired taste a reverse headstock five with pj pickups and a funny shape body -
