given you had none when I popped up to buy your old amp with my warwick.... am I partly responsible for this? :-D

Lol you maybe are Luke 😊
But I have always liked Warwicks & have owned some in the past, guess I forgot just how much I like them.

Have you gigged the bass much yet? How's it doing? Are you able to get plenty of volume and good tone?
    [/quote]
Yes it's done 4 gigs so far,has a lovely deep tone & is very feedback resresistant.
I've never had so much volume so easily & it is so much easier to play than my Strunal was.
    I couldn't be happier.

well done! Didnt see any naturals just black. Like tge look of the neck throughs.
whats the difference between the sreamer lx and the stage 1 nt with pj pups? Apart from NT and about £100 of course

    cheers :)
the Stage One NT should be a very nice bass too,i think the only difference is just that it is a neck through instead of a bolt on,get it bought :)

Really interested in these now. But thumb v streamer that's the question. Love a PJ but thumb seems to be the quintessential Warwick. Are they murder for neckdive on a strap? Andy Irvine seems to play them on his left leg when seated which I don't think I'd like

I actually have 3 of them now as I bought the last natural finish streamer LX4 that thomann had 😁
the streamer is definitely more versatile than the thumb & has a more mellow traditional sound but I love all 3 of my basses.
all of Them balance on the strap perfectly fine,I haven't noticed any neck dive at all, although I use a fairly wide strap.

  6. So I bought a cheapo J Tone pickup off eBay just as an emergency backup,it arrived yesterday so I put on my bass, through my fdeck to try it out.
what a suprise, although the output is lower than my usual pickup it gave a really nice warm, mellow tone, kind of my bass but louder,I kid you not.
I honestly expected it to sound sh*te instead it sounds very good indeed & for the measly sum of £28

  7. Price drop to £350

ok so i just accidentally bought another bass (like you do) & to save the wife from ripping my nuts of i am going to have to sell this 'ere one.
the bass is as new, absolute mint condition (i only bought it in May) & has had very little play as i mostly play DB in my band,in fact it has only left the house a couple of times.
strings are perfect having only a few hours of home noodling, setup is lovely & low with 1.5mm on the G @ 12th fret.
colour is a rather fetching antique tobacco satin finish & very nice it is too.
    2 band active MEC preamp
2 Jazz style active MEC Gold pickups
    body is Ash
    neck is Ovankol
    fretboard is Wenge
24 bell brass frets 34" scale
all hardware is the exact same as is fitted to the mega bucks German basses & is of very high quality.
comes with the owners kit, including straplocks
the Pro Series basses are very high quality instruments with very good build quality,i have previously owned German made Corvette's & think this is just as good as they were.
    comes with the owners kit
this is a gorgeous good as new bass for a small price

a lovely bass that i would keep it if i could only justify it to the wife
    sorry no trades.
