8.
'Proper' is relative to your point of view. The bass guitar is only about 50 years old, who knows what it will evolve into, with so young an instrument we should surely be looking forward to the future of it, and embracing it's expanding role, not living in the past. The electric guitar started of as an acoustic with gut strings, and what about the modern keyboard, look at all of its predecessers.
The Funk's correct,I'm only kidding, chill out, use your sense of humor, enjoy life
 9. yeah i been looking at that, very nice.
 10.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant .........! But...... Why? Mad as a box of frogs!
agreed. its a good job there's a propper bass player there too

 15.
I almost bought a Jaguar bass yesterday - it played and sounded nice but will be trying out a couple of others before I make a decision... though I have a feeling it'll be the Jag I'll end up getting. 18. Fender bass 1V i don't know why i just want one.
 19. I'd go for the ashdown perfect 10 mini rig too.mind i bought one a few weeks back. sound wise i'm very pleased with it,not shure about me neighbours though
 20.
wow if i didn't know any better i would have thought that was an old bass. Fender really did get what they wanted with this one, didn't they?
yes its a beauty for shure + i still can't believe how nice it plays & sounds.i'd recommend one of these to any body. btw the neck is even slimmer than my Jazz bass with a very low action which makes it a really fast player for those mid-gig Flea style solos (I wish)
