8.
You do realise that you would be creating a forgery of a manufacturers product by doing this? I would imagine that Gibson would not be too keen on letting logo transfers out onto the market and third party suppliers who attempt to replicate the logo would find themselves in court pretty quickly. Gibson are not a company that thinks twice before issuing legal proceedings it seems... If you want to put a logo on your headstock then I'd suggest that choosing a different design would be a very good idea. Why not use your surname or something like that - if I made something that I was proud of then I'd want my name on it, not someone elses!
ahh i did know it wud be a bit iffy but i didnt think it wud matter cos its a self build but i see what u mean man i guess ill leave it blank maybe. i just saw a p bass on ebay and the guy told everyone it wasnt fender but he put the decal on himself. i thought it was ok as long as u let people know? cheers for the advice tho man i probly shudnt haha and i didnt mean it as a forgery. thanks gary ill have a look on here...looks like a good site to get stuff done nice one mate
 9. Alrrrite, i recently put together a les paul style guitar and was wanting to put a gibson transfer on it and laquer over the top on the head stock. i have painted it black alredy and its alredy to do this but i cant find anywhere that sells gibson transfers. so im wondering if anyone knows where u can buy these? also is the laquering easy to do? and does it just go right over the top of the transfer and how thick do u do it? thanks in advance
 10. alllriteee, i just bought a second hand ampeg 4pro and bought it to practise today and cranked it all the way up and the eq seems to be fing up. basically it seems to cut the volume in half but when u move the end slider to the left (the one that turns up the power of the eq/ volume) it fixes it but then 10 secs later it will do the same. so i put a elastic band around it and put it to the other side of the eq to hold it to left and it has solved the problem for now. was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if anyone has any idea what thats gonna cost to fix? again im very thankful to u guys for the advice, im always asking and never giving cheers
 11.
You've got it up on Gumtree, haven't you? You'd probably get more for it on eBay if you're prepared to ship abroad, but on here you might get that, or maybe have to come down a bit.
yea i had it up there but i think that was a hope for the best price really, i dunno what it wud really go for. how much did u think if i was to put it world wide? i dunno if i cud be botherd with the hassle tbh cheers neep ill try it on there tomoro or somthing, thats a cool little website and thanks for the interest and stuff toasted i dunno what i shud put it at really im a bit of a noob

 13. hi there trying to sell my mxr m80 Bass di. its in good condition with the box and manual, the box is a bit ruffed up on the corners but is in good nick really. 80 quid. sorry about the pic, was taken on a phone cheers
 14.
Right, this was my first bass ended up stripping it down a while ago cos I was thinking about doing something with it. Now decided that its taking up space therefore I'm gonna give it away!! At the moment it is completely broken down, i do have all the bits as well some are a bit rusty but all are useable, may need to get wire for the electronics but I would personally re do those. The tuners, bridge, pickup, pots, neck plate, nut I think somewhere are avaliable the scratch plate I binned because it was ruined. You could literally put this back together again, maybe minus a few screws that are more than likely lost. Cosmetically speaking the body is pretty good, few dents in the back but no real paint scuffs, the neck i started to sand down, therefore there is no logo on the headstock or lacquer, the back of the neck is still untouched, the frets still have a bit of life in them, maybe a quick stoning might do them some good and a good clean! This would be pretty good for a project!! Collection would be much prefered but i could hopefully arrange some sort of box postage would be around £10.99 parcel force wise. Oh yeah I have a couple of crappy pics just cant get them on the work computer. Will post when I get home!!
if no one wants to collect i would take it off your hands dude that would be radddddddddddd ddd ddd im down near brighton dunno where that is to u but yea would be awsome cheers dude ill give u a pm as well
 15. ah cool thats around the price i was thinking cheers. i currently have a pro 3 and was also wondering how do the 2 compare, im in a 3 peice and in need of more volume. do u think this will give me it? cheers again
 16. hi guys, thinking about buying a 4 pro and was wondering what u lot recon the 2nd hand value of one of these is? also iveheard that you cant replace that speakon cable if u loose it and that its the oneway to bridge it to full power? is that true? cheers guys
 17. i shud really come and try this out where abouts in brighton are you? also i have a ampg svt-3 pro and mxr m80 also if u would be interested in either of those as trades
 18.
That shouldn't require much work to get a thunderbird neck on. Its an Epi that I have This one is already sitting at £60 including postage - may be better off waiting for a japcrap neck to come up? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Epiphone-Thunderbird...=item5d2b54a58b
ha cool thats quick work nice one well ill keep an eye on this actually i recon it cud look well nice, ha tino ill give u both a message but i might not sell them at all so yea cool cheers delberhot man ill let u know if i get it and cheers for all the help and shizzle
 19.
its just slightly over 56mm at the widest point. a standard Fender heel is about 64mm
the gap is very sligtly over 5.5cm which is grim, but not much mod to fix it i guess wudnt be to hard, is there any decent places to get those necks from? also wud a epi one be just as thin u rec?
 20.
Thunderbird necks are a lot narrower at the heel than Fenders and the like. There's a seller in th US sells Epi parts. Pm me the width and I'll measure my thunderbird if you like
cool yea ill give it a measure and give u a pm dude cheers i recon that might look rad actually cool, and yea if i change the pickups ill give u a pm about selling them or what ever but yea thanks for letting my know guys much appreciation

 22. ah ha thats it nice one then as if im ever gonna find a neck for it
 23. hi there, i recently bought this body which was advertised as a bass les paul style body from the 60's/70s (im sure its probly not). the guy said it might be gibson but he didnt have any idea as he found it in a loft which i guess means its not. anyway i got it the other day and after looking at it, it seems to small to be a bass body and also the neck slot seems very small in width. so im wondering if maybe its a guitar body? or maybe les paul basses have very thin necks. also the bridge suggests that it is a bass but i really dont know wether to try and find a neck or just turn it into a guitar. so yea any help wud be great ;D cheers guys
