Sounds like its ust the jack that needs retensioning, if you send it to me i'll do it for postage cost since it's only a 5min job and i really wanna have a go with one of these now haha.
ha yea its a great pedal but unfortunately the jack as actually fallen apart while i was trying to tighten it up which is why i now cant do it myself and im not sure where to get a part or even if the parts are common and cheap. do u know anything about that umph? heres some pics of the inside and some picks of what i have broken ect heres the part (jack) thats broken and heres what broke off the inside part of the jack hope anyone can help and cheers umph for the help so far; )
 2. hi guys, so my fav pedal broke recently when the input jack was very loose and the jack lead didnt fit, cutting out the signal. i asked a few people bout it and they adviced me just to open it up myself and try to fix it saying it would probly be easy, so i have tried to do and now have made things worse and have broken the input off. this is gonna be too much for me to repair as i dont really know what im doing and i dont want things to go rong as its a rare pedal and i wudnt want to not be able to use it anymore. The pedal is a ELEKTRONIKA distortion/phaser i think its also called a jet-fazer, from the 70's. its a great sounding pedal. anyway im just wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to send it to get repaired at all? any companys that do that kind of thing and how much it might cost. any advice wud be rad cheers heres a few pics if anyone wants to see it or if it helps (before it broke)

Cheers Col
sorry dude, i have always wanted to get a upright but i am very in need of cash atm. if i havnt sold it in a few weeks i might give u a message man whats the make and stuff?
 7. Selling this because i no longer use it really as i recently bought a jazz bass. i think its 2005 going by the seriel number. The condition is pritty good but it has a few light scratchs and also one small chip in the paint on the back (pictured below). the case is in pritty good condition but aslso has quite a few light scratchs where i have lent the bass against it. the bass has a button control which allows u to change the pickups from series to parralell. i live near brighton if ur interested in a pick up or anything this moddel is a AM P BASS STSW if you have any more questions feel free to ask ill do my best to answer SOLD cheers (sorry about the terrible quality, was taken on my phone)
 8.
Yes, it's an Energy 6-string (pre Series 1) and worth around £3-400 is close to the mark - That is if you put the pots back on. No one's going to buy it without any controls Colledge, back when Status were a little larger (involved with Trace Elliott at the time), they produced a cheaper range of wooden necked models like the Shark, Energy, Groove, Eclipse, etc. (As well as the Trace T-Bass.) When Rob separated the company & went solo, the remainder of the cheaper bodies were fitted with graphite necks. That's why some of the Energys became Series 1's & there are a couple of Grooves with graphite necks, made from left over bodies. There are a few interesting parts basses around, like the Shark Proactive Rob made for his son/daughter. That one's been for sale on here a couple of times.
thanks for all the infooooo, it says grapite on the headstock thats the reason why i thought it was a grapite. i havnt taken the pots off just the covers, however i think i may have lost them unforuntaely do u know if theres anywhere to get replacements? so overall u recon about 3-4 hundred? thats cool Thanks for the info and stuff guys much appreciated
 9. hi there im thinking about this this beast just wondering how much it is worth as it was my first bass and was a gift so i have never known what was even payed for it. its a status grapite 6 string if that helps cheers

 13. hi there. i bought a vintage russian Fuzz/distortion/phaser pedal about 5 months ago and it sounded absolutly great, the only problem was that it has no way to power it other then 2 9 v batterys. I tried getting 2 snap fit conectors to go on to the 9v connectors and into my power bank but that doesnt work either. now however one of the jack inputs has also broken in some way and the conection is not great u have totape it in place. so im wondering if anyone can help with advice or if you guys know anyone who i could send it to to be repaired and sort out the electronics..... thanks for reading guys much apprectiated
 14.
It starts there. It's still not finished here:
in my dreams hasick gear dude, yea well i got a sans di and a tu-2 funnily enuff but how do i go about doing that then...if i had 2 rigs i send it too one or somthing...or do you think its worth me getting a splitter like GD suggests to make things easier. cheers
 15. Alright guys, ive been trying to read up on the best way to split your signal for bass and im not quite sure i get what i need to do. im perticularly interested in spliting it as i use alot of distortion sounds, similar to brian cook and geddy lee ect, which from what i read means that they put all the gain and overdrive on the highs and mids and split the lows into the clean signal. As i say however im not sure if thats right and im not sure ow to do it. so really im asking if anyone knows how to do it and how much its likely to cost and just any other general advice about it as always i appreciate all the advice i get from bc so thanks in advance cheers
 16.
any chance of some sound clips?
everyone on bc are the nicest people ever i recon, ill try and get some clips up soon i just need to get my camera sorted out and ill do it for you

 23.
I know you said not ebay but I've used these guys a couple of times and have nothing but praise for them: http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/CH-GUITARS__W0QQ_armrsZ1 What initialy got me interested is that they give plenty of measurements of all their necks etc. I had two jazz necks from them , they don't seem to have many necks at the moment, might be worth asking.
yea man cheers this guy seems pritty reasonable ill probly get something from this guy, good find. nice remake waldemar looks sweet, altho for pick ups i was thinking of something a bit more modern maybe with more attack ect maybe somthing active i dunno. i do like those wizard pick ups but im not worried about money for this one really so if u have any suggestions up to like 300 quid even (including a preamp set) then let me know, as i was saying i was think about the emgs but im not sure i wud love it. maybe nordstands or i dunno ) thanks for all the help guys
