Quickly closed out a deal for my EHX Bassballs Nano with Martin this week. A smoother transaction I could not have wished for - great communication, prompt payment, quick follow up. Have no hesitation in dealing with him ... I could not recommend him highly enough. Also +1 for the Royal Mail who delivered a second class package next day (Saturday) - its a first, but worthy of praise!
4. bump number one
5. Stephen bought my OC-2 ... great guy to deal with, terrific communication preserved throughout the deal. Would recommend with no hesitation
6. A1 condition, with box and instructions. Nice pedal - just doesn't give me the sound I am looking for. £37 posted.
7. Don't think anyone else has posted this .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YGc4zOqozo Could also apply to US Airways judging by the dink they put in my G&L case!
8. Really nice - just the sort of thing that appeals to me - shame I am spent up at the moment!
9. On hold pending close out
10. Boss OC-2 Octave Pedal, bought a few months ago from Shep (Pantherairsoft of this parish). Nothing wrong at all with the pedal other than showing signs of use - the odd scratch and mark etc.. Probably a bit overkill for me ... just wanted to try this esteemed pedal out. £60 plus £3.50 P&P.
11. Anyone got a good recommendation for cleaning products ... seems a bit like doing a good job on a car - products that do a good job on swirls etc., followed by a polish/wax. There are quite a lot of products on the market so some feedback on experiences would be great.
12. Got my Fender Jaguar this week after a few weeks of searching for a nice pre-loved one - its in great condition but none the less I feel the need to give it a clean up. Any tips here - particularly cleaning the fretboard which has the pearloid block inlays. I would normally use Lemon Oil.
13. I still don't think I'm ready but have been playing for 3 years with the same band. I guess a good knowledge of a wide range of music helps and a willingness to play things I wouldn't normally listen to. It also helps if you have all the gear. The man who showed me the way told me as long as you have a good sense of rhythm, can play roots, thirds and fifths you can get by - I guess he was right - but I am not sure how I would have managed without the internet and tabs to guide me. Just remember - there's nothing like playing live.

15. That is one nice looking bass ... shame about the extra string!
16. Seems great value to me ... just as well I don't do the colour ... or I would have thought about a return to Grantham
17. Hey - that's the big brother of my L2000!
18. Could put your location when you post the pics?
19. For what its worth no gap on my L2000.
20. You should have a PM
21. I think I may have been the previous owner ... just to say the sound you can get out of this beast are amazing - if you can tame it. Although I never used it, I also think the dongle is a 9V converter.
22. Reviving an old thread here ... trying to get close as possible to the sound as this number is all about the effect (as many Muse basslines are). Having viewed threads here and on Talkbass, watched many YouTube clips I am guessing either a Digitech Synth Wah or EHX Bassballs is required. I have never ventured into the world of the envelope filter so any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Note I cannot afford an Akai Deep Impact even if I wanted to look for one!
23. Closed out a purchase of a Boss OC-2 from Shep last night - smoothest deal you could ask for - top 'chatter.... but you all knew that already!
24. I've put all the bits of advice together and got quite a list of things to look at .... all makes very good sense
25. Only had good experiences buying and selling on here - that said anything of significant cost (+ £100) I would normally do collection only as I want to see the goods ... which tends to reduce options - most things that interest me seem to be in Scotland!.
