  1. Diaddario balanced tension nickles on mine. As recommended by PRIMEbass. Sort of soft feeling strings. A revelation after roto steels.
  2. Ayup Fran! Legend!!!!!!!!!!

  11. 1970's TRex, sweet all the glam stuff, and the heavy rock would be excellent.
  12. Oldgits Shuker with the almost phalic top horn & Tinmans bass which looked like a koala.
  13. Cheers, that is what I am coming round to thinking... Just got image im my head of all the 1960s cover bands that I used to watch locally, The ones with the backing tracks.
  14. Please.. It is not my intention to annoy folk but......... I am currently inbetween bands, and bored. A position has been offered in a newly forming 60's band. They have good gear and own rehearsal space and PA etc. They are local. I want to throw my all into something, but I was hoping for a more rock orientated position, but there aren't any around here. Been following "Join my band" and its clones and local music press. There is nothing out there at the moment. I am 40. I depped for a similar band a couple of months ago as a favour, and I realy enjoyed it. But, how much life is there in a 60's cover band? A 1970's band I would jump at, but 60's? Is there any mileage in it. I know some people rave about the 1960's. and it is almost sacred. But it was over 50 years ago. Would I be flogging a dead horse by accepting this?
  15. Good lad, Get stuck in. Will listen to the cloud later.

  19. My Dad had a Fender Bullet Guitar. It had a genuine USA Telecaster neck with Fender tuners but a cheap wooden body and pups. The body was a smaller version of a strat. They were aimed at beginners I think. Came in a nice hard case too
