1. Bought a GK Neo 212 speaker cab of Simon (Jan 2011). Extremely good communicator, easy to resolve problems with (courier) and generally great to deal with! Craig
2. Shameless Bump! Mine's for sale one here: BOSS ME50B
3. Actually wow, that looks awesome!
4. Damn, looks like I missed it!
5. Really liked it love the tone of the bass!
6. I kinda liked it at the start, the two handed tapping was reasonably melodic. The rest of it :/ just didn't sound hugely musical. Oh and then he switched the bass round, couldn't take him seriously after that
7. Boss ME50B! Right, if you play bass then you've probably heard of this pedal. If you haven't, go to this link and have a look at it: Boss Website To break it down, this pedal has six separate sections: Compressor/Limiter, Master, Filter/Tone, Drive/Synth, Delay/Modulation and Expression Pedal. Each section has a huge range of tones that can be adapted to suit any sound, any need. 23 knobs, 3 built in pedals and 1 multifunction expression pedal. You can use the multiFX in two ways. as 3 separate stomp boxes: Filter and Tone: T. Wah, Octave (Up / Down), Slow Gear, Defretter, Enhancer, Bottom Boost, Mid Shape, Hollow. Drive / Synth: 7 Distortions and 4 Synths! Delay/Modulation: Variations types of: Delay, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, Reverb. And of course a tuner! The pedal also features: Noise Suppressor Master EQ Effects for Expression Pedal: Foot Volume, Wah, Resonance, Bend (+1 OCTAVE, -1 OCTAVE), Sound Hold, Kick Drum. They can be used separately or you can preprogram patches for ease of use live. This is a great pedal, unfortunately I need the money for more basic things like an amp . I can post this, in it's original box, with the manual. £125 inc postage. Trades for di/preamp type pedals and power amps considered. Cheers!
8. Any trades? Have a boss me50b I'm wanting to scale down from
9. This is now sold on gumtree, cheers.
10. I could have a look at couriering if you give me the dimensions? Cheers
11. Now you've linked them... Could ya post?
12. That seems to be only £10 off new dude, not sure if thats enough of an incentive to get yours rather than a new one.
13. +1 Being in a similar situation to the OP, I was hoping to be able to read through this thread and get some advice for my own situation from the masses of older, more experienced bassists on this forum. Ah well, getting used to what could have been informative and beneficial threads degrading into nothing more than slanging matches...
14. Specs on the cabs please
15. Have a gander at this: Marshall Rig

17.
Its this one http://www.audereaudio.com/JZ3.htm
According to the page it has 3 different configurations.
18. I want to! Just need to sell some other gear. So many great options on here at the moment, unfortunately noone wants mine!
19. I'm one of those students who has the books with the notation and tab underneath, it is almost impossible I think to not look at the tab when it is just there. However, every other bass player my age that I know relies on tab I personally think that the best thing to do would be to separate the two parts out like was mentioned above, but only if economically viable. Otherwise you would be defeating the object of having the tab in there to start with, to reach this wider market and get more sales. Otherwise the 'traditional' line of tab under each line of notation may be the best option... Oh and I'd love to 'trial' your book like Craig Edit for spelling.
