Do you mean 40-odd or 40 odd people? Caterham's easier to get to from the M25 than Redhill - its just off J6.

Mrs Tinman asked the same question in Off Topic the other day - this was Phatmonkey's reply: "Check the cookie settings in your browser (normally under the privacy tab in the preferences). Am I missing something here? My clock shows BST and appears correct - or have I just managed to do something right at last?

I for one am glad that the post counts are no longer shown on the left of the post, it doesnt matter how many posts you have had, only if they are RELEVANT!

I used to live in Horley, plus I went to school (eons ago!) in Whyteleafe so I remember the Angel. Lucky you, nice place to live. Back to the topic - Oxted County School might have a big enough hall - the school's huge... Plus the pubs in Old Oxted are worth a trawl, and its on a main trainline from London.

Can anyone please tell me if there is anywhere that recycles Guitar strings? Hubby keeps all his old ones because he doesn't like to "just throw them away" in case they can be used for something else (the word "throttle" has crossed my mind on at least one occasion!) so he has a drawer full of them! I thought they were 'dead' once used and only fit for the nearest metal recycling bin - please let me know if I'm wrong, I need the space! Thank you Linz PS - this is a genuine request, I'm not just messing about... I know some strings are coated, I wondered if they can be re-coated and used again...

Sorry to hear about your loss. I work for the police so I know what this sort of crime does to the victims. Hope you find your equipment soon.

Redhill would be good for me (and although he doesn't know it, good for Simon73 too, cos he doesnt know surrey, coming from northamptonsh*te like he does- someone has to!) cos a) I was born there and 2) I always get lost driving round Guildford (I suppose we could use a train!)
