    Really hankering after a decent “budget” Lakland, I mean Spector. Tried the DJ in Guitar Guitar and the neck was brilliant. Reading a lot about the better Spector Legends. Any thoughts?

    On a similar theme, I watched the Dolly Glasgow (edit.... Glastonbury!) set the other day. The bass player seemed to have a double P-pick up Sadowsky. Did some research and found her bass player is now a Spector player. I think over here we tend to be more in our silos. When I watch gospel or country players in Nashville they seem to be more open minded. Edit...Dave Fowler be his name.

    Went into Guitar Guitar...they have one. It is indeed beautiful and they have marker dots at the edge of the fretboard. I did, however, get a wee naughty feeling that I was playing my aunty’s coffee table.....

    Get a definite budget. Go to shop on quiet day. Sit for hours playing the same thing over and over again. (If possible -0 in the same type of amp as you have) Something will click.
