1. Last price drop. Don't really want to accept less than what is on offer now. Also bump for the Tonehammer which is now up for trade for a Sansamp unit.
2. How deep is the thing you're getting o_O That Boschma is a pretty deep case. If it does overhang though, the lids on the Boschma are pretty deep, so you may be okay... Might have to unplug the kettle lead from it every time though.
3. Going to stick at least a couple of these on eBay very shortly if there's no bites. Make me (sensible) offers!
4. Watch him play that fill on Youtube on the Letterman show. Sounds nothing like it. Studio magic.
5. Clearly!
6.
Well I've just bought a pre amp and negotiated into it a Boschma rack, and it looks great Not sure it's the right size for my power amp though...
When I had it, it was far too big for my poweramp, but I'd rather have too much space in my rack than not enough. Boschma cases ARE bulky, but having gone from a Boschma to a Gator and then back again, you realise what you're missing when you move away from a quality rack case! Bulky but great
7. Well I don't know, the clip light wasn't engaging, so I can't have been running it that hot...
8. The dust cap has a big tear in it. I haven't done anything ridiculous to it at all :/ it's not the first time I've heard of it though. Someone on this forum had a very similar issue resolved in the same way, though his tear didn't appear to be as severe as mine.
9. That was my 900W power amp running at about one third of its volume control into an 800W cab o_O
10. Thought I'd just add to this instead of starting a new thread - a driver blew recently in my 1212L. Dealing with Shaun and Jorg has been great, and Jorg is sending a new speaker out after seeing a picture of the damage, no questions asked. Great sounding cabs, and great customer service is all I have experienced from Schroeder
11. amp distortion
12. Sorry folks, been away over the weekend, no chance to reply to things. Think I'm up to date with PMs now. Just bumping this for a few more pedals sold, and a few George L's plugs. Not much left now!
13. If Dean is EVER aroun nowadays, might be worth asking him about re-covering? Isn't that pretty much what he did at Matamp? That latest 200W one is looking dead smart too anyway Hadn't thought about post power amp DI before - sounds like a cool idea!
14. It's still around, justabout o_O Waiting on someone getting back to me on it, but I can keep you posted on whether it goes or not?
15. Might be a little presumptious, but if you have an SM57 and a small stand for it (for mic'ing a cab) I'd take it off you. You haven't mentioned one, but it's the kind of thing studios have...
16. Last I saw of it was about a week and a half ago when I was at Jon's. It looked mostly done to be honest, but I think he just had 'finishing' to do to it, like flatting back the gloss and doing more layers etc. There were no hardware or pickups in it at the time. Don't know how much use that is!
17. No worries. One of my OC-2's fell through, so it's still there now!

19. Sure. Internal Width - 1020mm/40" Internal Depth - 450mm/17.75" Internal Height - 100mm/4" Weight - 10kg The board is made from 1/2" wood, so add another inch to the width for the external width, etc.
20. Bump for the pedalboard and RC Booster back for sale, photo of the HF-2, and the addition of the Cream Pie. Generally cleaned up dead weight from the two posts too.
That sealed 4x10 is Ash's
Then I think he'll be a happy man

valve amps

I'm speechless. The ported 4x10 I tried at Matamp last week with the GT200 was good, but really woofy and boomy with what I was trying to do. So I went back today and tried it through a sealed 4x10 Jeff had just built. It was better, but still not what I was looking for. Then we whipped out my Schroeder 1212L. It wasn't as loud as one of the Matamp 4x10s (on the lowest drive setting, we had the master volume on full and it would have been almost acceptable as a clean sounding practice amp), but OH MY DEAR LORD. The sound was incredible. When we turned the drive up a notch or two and messed with the EQ, we got tight, focused, mid heavy valve grind which cleans up when you back off your attack or volume... And it wasn't too loud to rehearse or gig with! I could have almost have been listening to the original bassist from Glassjaw when I heard what sound I was making. Turned to my friend who'd come with me, also a Glassjaw fan, and he just smiled. A lot. Absolutely nailed that EYEWTKAS tone dead. I NEED that head Me and Stu also dubbed the Matamp factory the Matcave while we were there, after seeing the personalised numberplate MA7 4MP on the van outside, and deciding that it was definitely the Matmobile

Line6 M9

Just updated my firmware last night and gave it a bash - I like the little things they've added in, like the heel/toe pixels and the relative pots, but they weren't essential. However, I'm left slightly unimpressed by the octaver Got some good drive sounds out of it to my surprise! 3 or 4 of them really work well I think with a bit of tweaking. Still nothing I prefer to my stomps though. The filters and delays etc are very nice and am happy to replace my pedals with them. I'm also very impressed with having a separate noise gate for each scene, and a really good noise gate at that! One of the biggest surprises about the unit for me
A couple of questions for those of you that already have this. What are the dimensions of it, how would it fit on a pedaltrain jnr?
Go and look in the stickied pedalboards thread - tayste's one is in there and on a pedaltrain jnr or mini (I forget which one!)
A long shot but, I know that the diago power supply can power the DL4 and FM4 etc, but can it supply the M9 or is the power supply for it similar to the PODXT.
No, you need a dedicated power supply AFAIK. Pain in the arse, still trying to find a way round it!
Also, from the line6 website it looks like you can have three effects active at one time so if i had the effects put into slots: ____1_______2__________3 B Octave--Whammy--Envelope Filter A Phaser-----Wha---------Delay am i right in thinking that I can only have a combination of 1 2 and 3 so if i had octave->wha->Delay if i wanted to add the phaser i would have to switch off the the octave? But i guess to get around this if i wanted to have the octave and phaser on at the same time i would use the scenes selection to have a scene with the octave and phaser in different numbered banks right?
You are correct.
Edit: one more thing, how do you connect up an ernie ball volume pedal to the expression input, it looks like the official EX1 pedal is just a simple 1 TS jack input where as the volume pedals have a jack in and jack out.
Connect a regular patch lead between the expression pedal input on the M9, and the output jack of the EB pedal.
24. Nah, I only have a gigging board. I don't see the point having it if I'm not going to use it really. Just laid out my new-look small(er) board last night. Kept more stomps than I'd have liked, but can't be helped!
