+1 no difference what so ever, quickest way to check to see if it takes the ACA power supply as that's an older one most likely japanese
Looking at it, both of mine have the 'Use Boss ACA Adaptor Only' sticker on the back, and one is slightly lighter in colour, which I believe makes it mid 80s Japanese (backed up by the label). The other one is slightly darker, and is Taiwanese. That's the one that's left. But like I said, not that it matters -

Although it really makes no difference, and they all sell for the same price. -

Look at my pedalboard in the thread you bought the loops from. Everything in that except the Rolls SX21 (own power supply) Lehle P-split (passive) and Whammy (own power supply) are powered off one Diago Power Station.
hiya man, can u elaborate on the hold function of the dd3? i'm looking for a pedal that, when pressed, will record what i play either for a preset time (and needs to go for very short times, 200ms) or until when i release the pedal, then replay this small loop. does that make sense? it sounds like what i would expect a 'hold' function to do!
When set to the hold function, the pedal will repeat what you've just played until you take your foot off again. Of course, if you put your foot on again VERY quickly and keep doing this, you can make quite a cool stuttering noise. I'm not sure of the exact delay time (I can't find it online - but the pedal itself does between 12.5ms and 800ms allegedly - it isn't clear which settings that applies to), but once it has the sample, you can turn the delay time knob to increase or decrease the delay time and consequently the speed and pitch of the sample if you want. All I know is it isn't really a long enough delay time to record anything particularly musical. It really is a stuttering kind of effect. If you watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D2NYXhepjE from 5:55 onwards, that is the hold function on the longest delay time. When the pedal is released, the 'held' motif is erased from the pedal's memory. EDIT: I can't believe I actually just wrote fut instead of foot -_- -
Funny, I was listening to him just now. For those who hate his electronic stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXpzK1ItQGw...re=channel_page

So in the quest to downsize my (I think) epic pedalboard to something more managable, I'm selling pretty much all my pedals. And I'm slowly getting there thanks partly to you lovely lot. I only have a few things left now. So here's a shot of the pedalboard, followed by a list of what is remaining to be sold from it: ALL PEDALS SOLD! So now I've done the hard work, all I have left is... George L's jack plugs - ALL SOLD For anyone buying jacks, tell me in the PM if you need a bit of cable and I'll see if I have any suitable lengths left. I mostly have scraps left from old cables I've made up, so doubt I could do any really long pieces, but I can always look.. I'm happy to make some cables up if you don't trust yourself to do it. Let me know some lengths and I'll see what I can do. Bank transfer is preferred. I really don't want to use Paypal if I can avoid it. Cheers, Chris -
I was just thinking it wouldn't make sense to waste one of the patches on 'volume pedal' setting while you could just put the volume pedal before or after the m9 anyway... Yeah. I think I may have been convinced you know. I'm going to assume from looking at it that I wouldn't be able to fit two EB pedals, an M9 and maybe one or two other pedals onto a Pedaltrain Jr?

This is looking more and more appealing D: Can you add two expression pedals? For Whammy and volume maybe?
-
Sounds like you just want a very small head with a DI output...? One of these micro-amps? idk, they do nothing for me so I don't really know which ones are best, but loads of people here use little marks, shuttles etc. I'm sure they'll be along soon!
Does photobucket host video? Would it be possible to do something on my camera and upload and link to photobucket?
Youtube?

One thing I was considering was dropping the cash on a Deep Impact, for that very reason. If I don't like it, I know the resale value will still be there... I don't really know how the two compare though!

Hmm. Interesting stuff again. Well I really want something which caters for the gated fuzz/octave stuff mostly with a little bit of filter thrown in for good measure in varying combinations, which is why one box seemed a nice idea. Think of Nerve or something I guess. The ability to change between several different patches at the touch of a button was the main selling point really. So if this pedal doesn't do all of that, then I may just have to reconsider my options! Which leaves me no nearer to when I started
Me either! By the way gentlemen (and any ladies who'd care to join in) - there is a dearth of photos of the Compacts on their travels - please endeavour to rectify this! Alex
Didn't get to use it at a gig, but in our practice room...

Korg CA-30 cost me less than £20 about 6 years ago and its still going strong. Its accurate and tracks pretty fast

Great communication and prompt payments Transaction was only slowed down by me missing the postman with the cheque!

How bad are we talking for the tracking? I'm used to the OC-2's tracking, and don't find myself wanting for more, even though I know it isn't brilliant.
