1.
i will go third in line(dont hold much hope) and send you a copy of win 7 too! get shot of vista is dog sh*te!
I'm actually okay not having a pirate copy of Windows thanks
2. Gotta go to work guys. I'll reply to people when I get back.
3. I'm selling my recording interface - it's a Tascam US-122. 2 channels, RCA monitor outputs, MIDI I/O, uses USB. Does what you need an interface to do, and I've had it for a couple of years for this purpose, as well as controlling my monitors for everyday PC stuff and iTunes etc. Being completely honest, it has some funny quirks. I have to unplug it when I'm done with the PC, or the computer won't shut down properly. It can also sometimes restart the computer if left idle for half an hour or so sometimes (but not if iTunes is running...). I'm not sure if it is a compatibility issue with my computer (I'm running 32 bit Vista), but it can be a little annoying. I've lived with it for a couple of years now, and it isn't hard to get used to these quirks (it involves unplugging the USB lead while it isn't in use, mostly), though they're less than ideal. Might not happen at all for the buyer. But because of that, I'm only looking for £20 posted for it.
4. Mr nomis sent me a blank rack panel for absolutely nothing. Very nice gesture
5. This is one of the only dirt pedals that has made me really want to buy it just from a demo video like that. Relatively unknown stuff here though I think!
6. Good thinking! Peavey UK spares department have now been emailed! If all else fails, I'll steal them off my guitarist's amp. Don't think he'll notice - he never uses them! ;p
7. What is the actual name of these things, and where can I get some? Tried searching for everything I can think of in Google, but it's always too vague. Have a massively long lead in the back of an amp and its attached. Just want to tidy it up without cutting the lead down!
8.
A round wood file. It's the only thing that had any effect! That leather is bloody tough!!
Thanks I just used determination and brute force. Took me a lot of time and swearing though. But I'm going to need to do it to another one soon too, so I'll try that out!
9. Redwirez have some Ampeg, Hartke and Aguilar ones I think. Pretty comprehensive amount of the ones they do, but the selection is still only about 4 bass cabs. It's like 10 dollars for one set of impulses, which isn't horrendous I guess Pretty sure it will work with Mac too.
10. Sorry, I already own one of these, but I was wondering what you used to enlarge the holes? I had no end of grief trying to get my straplocks onto it
11. Christ, he doesn't need 3 4x12s 2x12 kind of makes sense though. Wish Luke had one! Well anyway, not to derail too much, whoever gets it will be really happy with it at least
12. But when the day comes that you DO need it...
13. It's an awesome sounding cab. Crazy to sell it dude!
14. Quick transaction, no problems at all when buying an expression pedal from me Hope he isn't too crushed by the disappointment of my false name
15. Bought my Okko compressor recently. The transaction was easy enough from my end Would definitely deal with Bob again!
16. Diago do (or did) an adapter for a 9v supply that would internally double it to 18v. So you could keep the same supply, and only use up one output. Something to think about if you could track one down. Diago don't sell direct anymore, but I rang them up and managed to get hold of one that way anyway as a kind of special order. Don't know if other companies make a similar adapter.
17. Ooooh, was really hoping the Darkglass content was going to be their overdrive pedal. The clips sound awesome on that. Free bump though, some great stuff for sale here!
18. Awesome looking board
19. Okko sold! Help me out with the last couple of things! Open to reasonable offers ^_^
20. Dave bought a pedal off me, and the payment was quick and painless
21. The bass behind him looks to have more strings, and unpaired... Idk. His technique is pretty decent, but I'm not a fan of his application of said technique. He does come across as a bit of a tool on talkbass though, I'll agree.
22. Just to add, the depth setting kind of works like a high pass filter. The leftmost setting lets most bass through, and as you turn it clockwise, the cutoff point of the high pass filter is moved higher. So it almost feels like you're turning the knob the wrong way until you're used to it
