NOW £550 Picked this up in a trade recently as fancied a 4 banger. Really impressed by the sound, build and playability of this thing and loved the narrow neck compared to MM Stingrays I've had previously. Too few strings for me though and I can't justify having it lying around with too many basses already. It's in immaculate condition, no chips/scratches/dings I can find, nothing but the odd finger smudge easily cleaned off. The scratchplate is as smooth as a mirror under the strings. I've had brand new basses arrive in worse shape than this. I'd be shocked if the original owner gigged it, left the house with it or even took it out of its case more than a few times. Electrics all work perfectly and it cops 99% of the authentic Stingray tone with the EQ dialled in right, massive sound. The action was pretty high when it arrived so I've taken that down to a decent level. Truss rod works fine. It was fitted with Rotosound flats by the previous owner so I slapped a new set of Maruszczyk nickels on and it sings. Comes with the original branded soft case + allen keys (bag never opened) + a EBMM SUB catalogue which must have shipped with it 🤷‍♂️ I'll even chuck in the rotosounds AND a set of mystery strings that were tucked away in the gigbag. I'm guessing they're the ones it shipped with originally as they've been fitted at some point, so possibly a lightly used set of EB strings into the bargain.
