Feeler for an Ibanez prestige 4 string from 2005. Not had this long but I don't think it is going to suit my current needs.It has the usual slim fast ibanez neck. Up for sale is this wonderful looking and playing Ibanez 5 string. Its my third exploration into 5 string and on this one felt at home right away. Only putting up for sale as there is something else i want on here which suits my current band better, if it doesn't sell quickly I'll happily withdraw! It has quite a narrow string spacing but didn't take long to get used to, Bartolini MK1 pickups, Bartolini MK1 3-Band EQ, Accu-Cast B20 bridge and an arched topped body of figured maple fitted with a 5pc maple/bubinga thru-body neck. Selling a Thomann T.Bone wireless, just like this one. http://www.thomann.de/gb/the_tbone_tws16pt863mhz.htm It's hardly been used bought it on here a while back and only used it twice. It works fine, no signal loss but I don't move enough to warrant a wireless! £55 posted to you in original box.

Bump before eBay - now had the mystery confirmed from the serial numbers, its a Mexican jazz body with a 70s reissue neck, so just the headstock refinished.

Its only the headstock where i think you can tell its a refin, as someone on here mentioned it is slightly over the edge and the decal doesn't look like its under the laquer but its a very good job.

Would be interested in a p bass trade.

Its definitely shallow and very comfortable, i had a us deluxe which had a thicker neck back to front, which i assume would be a c shape.and its mz9 so yes 2009. Phil

The bridge also has the grooves on the saddles so you can adjust the string spacing, if this adds any clues as to the model, I am still none the wiser! I have taken a picture with pickguard and control plate off which I can mail anyone if wanted, as i have gone over my upload limit.

I have added a couple more photos one of which has the serial number and made in Mexico on the back of the headstock. following a chat with another member, we have both wondered if it could be a respray, as the decal appears to be over the paint as opposed to under the laquer. Everything else about it suggests a 70s reissue so I would be very interested if anyone can provide further information on it!
