For Sale - Warwick Bleached Blonde - with new pics
Philly replied to bassfan's topic in Basses For Sale
Hi All, I have a Warwick Thumb 4 - Ltd edition 2003 Bleached blonde "tentatively" for sale. Only 350 ever made. I bought it on here 3 years ago and have never gigged it. There's a couple of minor dings/marks but nothing untoward at all. I'll attach pics in the next couple of days but you can take a look at the link below to see her. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=bassfan I would prefer collection or a meet (I travel for work quite alot). I'm looking for £850 plus shipping if required. I'm not interested in trades, unless its a Modulus Flea Paul
Argh! I had a Modulus flea which I just sold this week because it wasn't getting the use it deserved, I would have loved a trade for this! And I live in Essex! Good luck anyway! -

Hi all Selling my cort gb74, looks very similar to the Lakland DJ, think they are made in the same factory and have very similar necks to the skylines in my opinion, and the same hipshot licence tuners. Its in good condition, no real damage to mention, very nice bass for the money plays well, just only seem to be playing my 75 reissue at the moment so want to get rid of what I am not using. Spec: Cort GB74 OPN Bass Guitar - solid swamp ash body, bolt-on maple neck, maple fretboard, 22 frets, 1x Mighty Mite J-style alnico & 1x MBA4 pickups, 2-band active EQ, coil split switch. Looking for[s] £230[/s] £200, could post if absolutely necessary but don't have a case for it. May trade for 5 string jazz eg fender MIM etc.

Hi All I have an American 75 reissue Jazz and I love it, my only one gripe is it is very slightly head heavy. I am thinking about adding a badass II bridge, I know the benefits are already massive due to the crap bent tin bridge already on it, just wondered if anyone thinks this will help balance the instrument better? Anyone encountered any negatives swapping the bridge over? Thanks Phil

Thanks for the comments guys, this is on hold pending a trade at the moment. Just for completeness I'm in Essex, I am interested in warwicks but don't have money to spare, and would get a quote to Northern Ireland if for any reason it should it become available again. Also the sofa is a great place to sleep if it means another bass!

Hi all Found a new cab so now this is now or sale Looking to downsize my cab a little as I need more boot space, its 500 watts into 4ohms and very lightweight. Handles on top make it very easy to transport, and removable casters on the bottom for easy wheeling! Looking for £270 for it I believe the below specs are correct, they have come from the eden website, think the nemesis range is now called the E series. http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/r...abs/n410rs.aspx The best light weight 410 on the market. You get balanced tone and an abundance of output level. The NSP410 is ideal for most playing situations and will move you to the center stage. N410RS SPECS Speakers 4 x ES1040XL16 Tweeter T2004 Crossover 3kHz @ 12dB Power Handling 500 Watts RMS Freq. Response 48hz - 18khz Impedance 4Ω Sensitivity 104dB SPL@1W1M Dimensions 24.75w x 24.75 x 16.25d Weight 52 LBS Thanks for looking Phil
Just a slight correction - there are only 23 of these in existence. 24 were ordered but one turned out to be STUPIDLY heavy and Dan Lakin wouldn't let it out the door. Mine's a keeper! These are great basses, and especially good considering the price.
Sssssshhhh You're making me really want to keep it!! Thanks for the correction! Mine is really light, surprised he had a heavy one.

I have just bought a new bass (again) which I am hoping will be a keeper, so my one in one out policy must be enforced. It’s sadly going to have to be my Lakland JO DPLE, which I bought about a year ago from this forum. It’s a Dudepit limited edition in a Sherwood Green usual sparkly lakland finish, and matching headstock. Only 24 of these basses were ever made and only 4 with the maple board option (or so I hear!) It’s a beautiful looking and playing bass, the neck is one of the slimmest and easiest I have played. It has a j-retro installed as standard and also the stock fralin pickups, which makes the tonal variation excellent. Also has a spare black pearl pickguard It has a little bit of buckle rash on the back and a couple of little marks, the worst one shown in the pictures. Looking for what I paid for it which is £580. It doesn’t come with a case but I can probably chuck a used hard case in for an extra £30 if needed/if I can.

Hi all I've only recently bought this off the forum from Bassatnight but something else I really want has come up. So if there is interest in this I will sell it before I let myself get too attached to it, if not I'll happily hang on to it. Its a lovely looking and playing bass the quality of these Sandbergs is great, and its very versatile tonewise from the short amount of playing time I have had with it. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...;hl=sandberg+JM Hope you don't mind me using the link Steve. Phil
