The x2 is fabulous, really good quality signal You can pick up an x2 used or from the states cheaper than a relay, but the relay is legal if that is an issue Personally, I find the transmitter that you have to put in your pocket or a strap a bind, and I prefer the samson bug, although I dont think the quality is as good
Take a look at the StageClix system then. Not cheap, though.

Does anyone know how long the Fender Vintage strap is?
RichardH replied to Cat Burrito's topic in General Discussion
I have one knocking around here somewhere - I'll dig it out if I remember and measure. Wouldn't want to use it on a bass with too much weight to it though... AHA! Amazed myself and found it. It adjusts from 56" to 44". Mine's not got the contrasting stitching, but I've had it for a while so maybe they've changed them a bit. They're suede lined on the shoulder side, and - asd the website says - padded. Mine's currently sat doing nowt, if you're interested? -

Just bought a Roland Micro Bass cube from dumelow - really helpful guy, great comms.

Purple Chili has a few Badasses in - I think he's sold out of the black ones he had though - they've come off the website. You could drop Mike an email and ask if he's got any more - from what he said when I last spoke to him he may have a couple that aren't quite brand spanking new - maybe a touch of rust on a screw etc.

Watcfh out where they're coming from - a lot are from HK/China, so may take a while to arrive!

Has Doctor Tweek got what you're after? EDIT - no it looks like he doesn't (just read your thread properly!) CPC used to stock loads of those angled enclosures... off to have a look now.... How about these or these

How about a T-Amp? If you search for T-amp you'll find loads of variations, that's just the first I came upon. EDIT here's a couple more: £13.99 £20 odd Looks like you'll need a wall wart as well, but that's cheap enough.
thinking of doing this with a 1x15 speaker ive got kicking around. did you use premade plans or do them yourself?
I would take a look at the Electrovoice TL606 plan (available here), so long as the driver is designed for the volume of the cab. I warn you though - 18mm ply weighs a fair bit!!!! Loads of guff in the DIY cabs build thread
I'll be very interested to hear what you think of these. I've got a Deltalite-loaded wide-bodied Omni 10. I'm about to embark cutting it in half to make two 10.5s for easier transport although a few people on the BFM forum didn't recommend that I did! But then I'm a fool like that. On the BFM site there were reports that the Omnis "chuff" on loud low signals but I've never noticed that with mine. The plan is to then build a pair of Jack 110s for bas and convert the Omnis for PA use by fitting a crossfire piezo array. Much wood butchery to be done!
I would suggest making another Omni 10 and the use the pair for PA, rather than hacking the one you have about. Bigger boxes, but I think they would be a more capable rig. Then make the 2 Jack 110s for your bass rig. Then when you only need a mini PA, use a single Omni 10 for bass and the Jack 110s for the PA.

Is a Gibson Les Paul bass a good deal for £500?
RichardH replied to Dogame's topic in General Discussion
There's a fretless one going on eBay at the mo - looks slightly better nick, but maybe the fretlessness will keep the price down a bit, so that could be a guide to a possible "real world" price. -

How about the Korg Pandora range? A secondhand PX4B or even a PX3B would do the job nicely I'd think. I use my PX4B with a pair of (modified) Grados (bought when the £/$ rate was good - less than £50 delivered to my door

Here's today's batch of pics - this time of the GR20. I should say that I've had an expression of interest, which relies on the potential buyer selling a bass first. I have said I will give him first dibs, and some time to sell the bass, but should anyone else be interested, I will check with Mr First Dibs before going any further. Does that make sense? R
Oooh! I forgot about your earlier kind offer when I bought the cab. RichardH = officially very helpful I'd be happy to bung you a few quid Rich if you fancied posting me a little pot, then I can touch it up in advance, thus making this cab so desirable no mortal could resist!
PM me your address and I'll pop something in the post.
