Condition as bought from new, with box and instruction guide. Velcro stuck on the base of pedal, as seen in the photo. If removed, the rubber pad will still be intact if there's a need to grip a floor. In the front facing photo, there are red reflections of a room heater in all four knobs! I bought this a couple of months ago and put it straight onto my pedalboard, then realised a compressor isn't what I needed for live playing. It has been kept safely in its box ever since. As far as I'm aware, these are rare in the UK. Stunning purple colour too, which looks great on a pedalboard! Ben Kenney from Incubus swore by this pedal, which should appeal to pick players out there looking to smooth out their tone. Here's the website link full of relevant info.... *CLICK HERE* Payment by Paypal prefered, but please get in touch if you're interested. Aguilar cabs........an opinion please.
Hmm, in my (limited) experience, the DBs seem to have more of a mid-hump than the GSs... How strange! Love my GS410 though- brilliant piece of kit although I'm adding a 1x15 to get a bit more arse end out of it
That could be true to my ears too Josh, but I've never played through the DB 1x12s -
Aguilar cabs........an opinion please.

Hi Nick You'll get this a lot but I can't not mention you sent a LOT of nice gear up my way in Scotland when I were a lad, including a fretless Steamer 5 with a unique knot in the neck :-) I have two amazing Aggie rigs - a compact one in the UK and a bigger set up over in Europe, and they're VERY different. AG500 with two GS112s (one with a tweeter). DB750 with a DB212 & a DB115. I now really just use the smaller rig for functions and club gigs. When I used it on bigger stages, the 112s sound amazing if you're within reach, but just didn't have the throw or spread even coupled with the DB750. The GS cabs are slightly more midrange and 'clean' to my ears. The DB cabs look and sound a bit more vintage, to my ears! However, I'm using them with a valvey head so that'll add to it. On some smaller stages I've used the 750 with the 2x12 alone and it performed like a deeply voiced 4x10. The DB115 is the first 1x15 cab I've used in 15 years. It's a great sub. Tight too, nice low mids so great for mic'ing up. I must admit, I'm not a fan of using the AG500 at high volumes. It just cannot compete with the DB750 and my opinions of these cabs are influenced by the power and voicing of these amps. Lawrie -
Are you willing to sell the cab(s) seperate?
Yes I would be willing to sell the cabs without the head if the offer was right. Please bear in mind that the cabs (and head) are in storage in Germany (and most of the time I'm in Scotland) so pickup is prefered over shipment, although I realise that wasn't your question! I will be using them this weekend - Saturday 6th in Jena, Sunday 7th in Reichenbach, followed by Hannover on March 19th. -
Hey folks For sale is the rig that I have been using exclusively with chart topping band Stiltskin and the current touring show Genesis Klassic. It's simply time for a change... Eden WT800B 2 x 400w stereo head - includes rear panel Speakon connections. Recently serviced with a preamp valve replacement. Rackmounted in a Boschma 2U rotocase. (for technical details please check here: http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/amps/) £750. SOLD. Eden D410XLT - double ported 4x10" 700w cab. 4 ohms. Incredible cab - compatible with the most powerful amps. Made-to-fit protective cover included. Slots in base for removable casters £425. Eden D210XST - super powerful and lightweight 2x10" 500w cab. 4 ohms. Made-to-fit protective cover included. £350. SOLD pending usual. Pickup preferred, but will negotiate delivery costs with buyer depending on which items are desired. If you are interested and wish to try it out for yourself, please get in touch and we can arrange a meeting. I'm afraid I don't have more detailed pictures of the items. I look after my gear and I expect long service from what I use. The amp has always been protected in a case so is in good condition. The cabs have been in better condition, but as I said, I look after my gear so in my view are in great condition for well travelled boxes. The carpet finish is still well intact and I try to keep the speakers dust-free. Their present appearance shall probably remain with continued use of their protective covers. Thanks for reading, Lawrie
Had a look and couldn't see a thread dedicated to SAD's and I have just got my 6th one (cheers Trev) and so thought I would start it with details of my new delivery. Sonic Blue MV5 with VTC soon to be fitted. Hi So is this the dedicated Sadowsky thread?! If so, I'll add pics of my two NYC 5 strings as soon as I get the chance. In the meantime, here's my mate Gil's stunning 24 fret currently up on eBay.... Advice - achieving synthbass sound on Jamiroquai's Canned Heat
lawriemacmillan replied to lawriemacmillan's topic in Effects
Thanks for making me listen to that... It's a bit tricky because there's a filter sweep used, but it's only triggered occasionally, so if you were using an envelope filter you'd have to be really careful about your playing dynamics and set the filter's sensitivity pretty low. The EHX Bass Micro Synth would be a good solution, it could cop that tone, and do the filter triggering easily too - there's a trigger threshold for its sweep, rather than it being envelope-following, so it's more predictable and controllable and keyboard-sounding. Alternatively you could do it with a Boss OC-2 (or similar fat-sounding analogue octaver), any semi-subtle filter with a sensitivity control, and something to provide a little dirt between the OC-2 and filter to give that bit of colour when the filter starts to open. But you'd have to be quite disciplined with your picking hand.
Thanks for listening to that.... You've just sold me on trying the EHX Bass Micro Synth. Cheers for your time! -

Thanks for that. Yeah, the filter I get. How about the synth bass sound on Anastacia's I'm Outta Love while we're at it?
