  1. Yep, that's my UV70 5 string. It's been modified to be more like a Tokyo model which predated the Metro line. It has dots, a Badass bridge and Luminlay markers on the neck edge
  2. Imperial Matthew Garrison shape with custom specifications. 4000-4500 GBP is the ballpark amount of cash I would look for to be included in a trade with a fretted bass I am looking for. I am enthusiastic to negotiate part trades for your: early 1970s Jazz bass, especially naturally highly relic'd, not mint condition. Lakland USA Joe Osborn 4 string Jazz bass. Pre-EB Musicman Stingray. Moollon J5 Stunning single-cut bass made in the Fodera workshop in Brooklyn, NYC. This is not the Standard bolt-on model. 2009 build. Buckeye top. Walnut body. Ebony fingerboard. Fodera/Duncan singlecoil pickups with buckeye covers. Matching buckeye ramp. Extended B string. 26 'fret' positions. 34" scale. 19mm string spacing at the bridge. 48m nut width. Fodera premium padded gig bag. Excellent overall condition. Some minor surface bumps which are unnoticeable unless closely inspected. 3 band EQ with selectable mid frequency selector and coil tap switches.
  3. I'm considering part exchange offers. Late 60s/early 70s Fender Bass, in all aesthetic conditions, receiving approximately half the asking price of the Fodera.
  4. I have the same wonderful cabs. If the buyer for some reason doesn't want the covers, I'll happily take them
  5. 2 x 10@ speakers + tweeter Lightweight and easy to carry - 12.6kg Narrow vertical dimensions 400w RMS power handling The benefit of 4 ohms allows maximum headroom from most amp heads. A fantastic standalone cab Includes fitted protective cover Postage extra but I will find the most reasonable price for this
  6. Italian-made analogue bass compressor. Overall condition new but has velcro on base. Sound samples on the link below: https://www.nemphasis.com/en/prodotti/vt-comp-bass-optical-compressor.html £110 including UK postage
  7. The Bass Gallery in Camden, London are have this in their showroom and are offering finance options to pay in installments
  8. Now available to demo at The Bass Gallery in Camden, London
  9. Well I agree, of course haha! I was never a huge fan of wood pickup casings, but this is spectacular in the flesh
  10. Ash is a credit to the bass gear buying/selling community! Communication was a breeze and the cab I bought arrived well packed
  11. Looks like an early build based on the front handles. Mine had the later wider handles and I bought it new in 2006. I still think these amps have never been bettered, including the DB751. I'm with you. I'll buy another in future, but just not for regular late night gigging!
  12. George has been a pleasure to communicate with and does not delay in replying. Payment was agreed and completed very quickly. And a GREAT guy and bass player
  13. Celebrating the 30-year partnership between Yamaha and bass legend Nathan East, the BBNE2LTD is a limited edition version of Nathan's signature 5 string bass featuring an exclusive eye-popping pewter finish, black nickel hardware and Nathan's hand written signature in the electronics plate. It's a limited run of only 50 basses in the world. Featuring neck-through construction, the two-octave neck is built from maple and mahogany with an ebony fingerboard inlaid with figured abalone. Matching mother-of-pearl tuners complete the look. The unique BB body is made of maple and alder for a fat sound with plenty of definition. The BPZ-7 bridge features individual, machined saddles that provide precise intonation, a low profile, and an elegant look. The stacked Alnico humbuckers run through Yamaha's 5-control active electronics, which feature a custom 3-band EQ with a switchable mid-cut to provide sonic versatility for any situation. Construction Neck Through Scale Length 34" (863.6mm) Fingerboard Ebony Radius 19 11/16" (500mm) Frets 24 Body Maple/Alder Neck Maple/Premium Grade Mahogany 5 Piece Bridge Yamaha BPZ-7 (No Piezo) Pickups Alnico V Stack Type x 2 Pickup Switch N/A Controls Master Volume, Pickup Balancer, 3-Band EQ, Mid Cut Frequency, Mid Cut On-Off Switch
  14. Miki is a pleasure to communicate with. We came to a mutually pleasing agreement very quickly and my bass arrived safely and as described. Cheers, Lawrie
  15. I had serial number 342! It was black. I had Martin Sims put green LEDs along the neck edge. Wonderful bass!! So powerful too
  16. Plenty of interest, but mostly trades so far.
  17. I was pleasantly surprised, and they really inspired my playing when recording. Just a pity I need roundwounds on my 5s when gigging
