1. Price reduced and I'll throw in a black padded MonoStrap!
2.
Not heavy, either - for an all-valve amp.
It helps that they managed to fit all that's necessary into a fairly shallow rack unit. I was surprised I didn't need to get a deep rackcase for it
3.
Played one of these at the Sadowsky shop a few years ago. Not at any volume, but the sound was UNREAL!
Agreed. Even at low voulmes you can feel the notes under your feet unlike no other
4. With intense regret, my beautiful Sadowsky SA200 amp is available to buy. SKB rackcase included. Only 100 of these amps were built back in 2005, however Roger Sadowsky has announced a new batch will be in production. Plush, deep, crisp and precise. Simple control layout but tonally broad. Recently checked over by valve amp expert Dennis Marshall. All in perfect working order. I use Interparcel's services and have a good history with them. 5. Great amps. The AH350SMX had a textured black coating. It was replaced by the AH400SMX finished in dark green carpet, but they possibly continued using the same power section, at least at first.
6.
Is this sold?
Now sold, thank you
7. Will be back in the UK tomorrow to confirm this
8.
Can't comment on the Bass but Lawrie is a top fella and I'd have no qualms about dealing with him, if that helps..
Aw man...thanks for that Nice to hear from you!
9. Hi the neck is very straight and the bridge saddles are set to give a medium action for me. I do like to dig in without any notes 'choking' so I had it raised slightly higher than the way Chris McIntyre set it up, so I do know the neck is suitable for a low action. I hope that helps?
10. This is a beautiful bass I had built around a 1977 one-piece maple neck. Former Sei Bass luthier Chris McIntyre who is now based in Scotland built the ash body as a replica of a friend's 1980 Stingray. I requested the front contour, but the rear of the body is still a slab design, like the originals. Everything on the neck is original, but Chris added a new truss rod nut for ease of adjustment. The finish is a custom colour, forest green. Not turquoise like it may seem in a couple of photos, and the condition is amazing, albeit for the light buckle/clothing rash on the rear. John East MMSR 2-band active preamp. Nordstrand MM4.2 dual-coil pickup, which faithfully reproduces the classic early Stingray tone. Hipshot bridge - also often used on Nordy bass guitars. 1977 neck plate and battery cover on rear. Pre-EB pickguard. Its weight is 4kg, which is relatively light for a Stingray, and it balances well. http:// http:// http:// More images in the photobucket album: http://s1342.photobu...y?sort=3&page=1 No trades thanks. I'll include a black padded MonoStrap in with the sale. Postage costs I'll keep as low as possible.
11. I'm about to put my DL4 up for sale. Sorry for hijacking this post. Please delete if this is against the rules!
12. £80.00 (including UK delivery) Up for sale is my Tech 21 Bass Boost Fuzz. It's been kept safe and clean in a pedalboard since I bought it new and other than the velcro stuck to the base, it's pretty much in the same condition when first bought. This pedal has two main functions - FUZZ and a CLEAN BOOST (up to 21dB). The two can be used independently or combined. I personally never needed to use both simultaneously, but the clean boost came in very handy when balancing the levels of my passive Fender P-Bass 5 to my active Sadowsky UV70 5. There's no apparent loss of low end definition when the fuzz effect is engaged, and the 'clean' control allows the player to dial in a balance between the clean and affected signals. A great versatile pedal, and a more creamy distortion than you'll find on overdrive pedals. http:// Images here in Photobucket link: http://s1342.photobu...z?sort=3&page=1 Demo: https://www.youtube....h?v=--NQLYGuAaY
13. Lovely example of a Metro. Have a bump on me!
14. Nice bass, especially for a 7. I'm selling my 6 string version! Good luck
15.
An old skool bass mods! These are quality basses, I reviewed their basic 7 string version a few years ago, excellent basses for the price.
Couldn't agree more! It rejuvenated my enjoyment of playing a six. I'd love a shot of the BeeBass
