  1. Nice condition. The original speaker has been replaced with a Celestion 15 200W 8 ohm speaker. Prefer collection but might consider shipping. https://ampeg.com/products/b/b115e/ Welcome to try out here before purchase, (I’m in the West Midlands WV14), whatever. Im selling another 1x15 300W cab under Trace 1215 Cheers. Geoff
  2. You could say it’s TWO AH250’s. So you would get the full power out of EACH AH250 with a 4ohm load. You may be lugging the extra weight around with half of the amp doing nothing. So it’s personal what combination/configuration of speakers you have. Generally, more speakers more sound.
  3. Bit of info here but I don’t fancy studying https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1342950 cheers
  4. Hi, Perhaps a fellow member can answer this, I’m not sure. I have been using two amps into the pedal with the guitar lead in the centre, Geoff
  5. Morley ABY pedal for switching between outputs e.g. amp heads, pre amps, effects racks, speaker cabs etc or selecting both . This is an original Morley pedal still with the box. Its reliably built, has superb quality electronics and firm jack sockets, in a robust metal housing. The condition is virtually as new. I don’t think they make them as good as this today. I used this on occasion for connection two bass combo set up. All my stuff is being sold as Im retiring from gigging after 50 years exactly.
  6. Flagship or battleship. Meaningless to state the watts output with this amp. 250 means 250watts @ 4ohm. Although these amps are heavy, it’s still a one hand lift. I’ve gone round in circles during the last couple of years with the newer pocket stuff but I wanted to hear bass and returned to old faithful. This is an amp to love, not just like. It’s recently been serviced by Green Lane Music Walsall. I’ve had many Trace heads and the MK 4/5, Series 6 and the SMX were the best. The later stuff has gradually tapered off, made by god knows who. This is the last piece of my gear, it’s the earlier ‘painted’ model in good condition. Someone took a video recording/listening a while back of the band and I had the opportunity to make a comparison linking to 2x10+1x15 cabs with the AH250 and an EDEN WT400. They were both very similar in ‘thump, volume and definition’. I kept the AH250. Welcome to bring your cab and test here before buying if my last cab has been sold. I could post but...ahh...it should be ok if well bubbled etc. Geoff Coseley, West Mids WV149PU

  8. Excellent condition and working order. Great tone. Disappointingly, because I wanted to show the speaker spec, when putting it back in I caught the dust cone. It’s firm but looks like a trod on chip. The speaker still sounds A1. Welcome to trial and test here before you buy, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers. Geoff Coseley WV149PU
  9. Following up from the sale of my Ashdown rig, is more of my arsenal due to retirement. My remaining Trace stuff is advertised separately. Brilliant portable combos. I loved the one so I bought another later. I’m not going to try and describe how good they are as there’s plenty of excellent reviews etc e.g. https://www.sweetwater.com/insync/roland-cube-100-bass-review/ Perfect working order. Selling separately £160 Geoff Coseley WV149PU
  10. Dave just bought my Ashdown rig. No issues. Good comms. Cash on the spot. No problems dealing with Dave.
  11. Following requests for more pics of the ABM400....
  12. This is my ‘backup’ amp to the one I sold a few months back. I’m finishing NYE and that gig has been cancelled due to a new tennant. So I’ve made my mind up to sell now. I can find something to get me by for the last few weeks. It is a UK made Ashdown pre the 500. Apparently there is no difference between these and the "500" version and it’s certainly loud. The amp has recently been serviced at the Ashdown workshop and is A1 working. No problems with the original speakers etc. The cab facia material can easily be removed if necessary. Each cab is 300W. Mains and leads included. Ok it may be old fashioned to lug, but for the sake of a few minutes puff you can be happy all night. Neo and class d, been there, like but not love. Those neodimiumumum speakers irritate me. I’m in Coseley/Bilston West Mids WV14 Geoff
  13. I forget now with this one, we’re the pickups fralin?
  14. In that case, it’s got to be a good un’ GLWTS Geoff
  15. What’s the serial no.? Thanks
  16. Just when I’d decided to keep it, it’s sold. My Ashdown stack is coming up for sale in January when I retire. 400w head, 2x10, 1x15 for £275. I’ll set up an advert then.
  17. Could be capacitor not doing its job. You could fiddle all day and it can still let you down. Take it to an amp repairer, with a scope -probably works for the music shop. Normal charge £40. May even lubricate the fan if decent.
  18. Excellent condition and working order. 200W. 8 ohm. Ive preferred these to any other make out there except EV & JBL which weigh a ton. Made for Trace Elliot, this speaker provides that warm and defined crisp tone. Retiring NYE 2018 and selling up. Geoff Coseley West Mids 01902 833173
