1. Just bought a Precision from Jo's house. Nice guy, nice chat, great musician and a lovely bass. Buy from Jo with no hesitation.
 2. Reduced to £625 In excellent condition and in perfect working order. Part of the famed "JV" (Japanese Vintage) series of instruments produced from 1982-83 by the then newly formed Fender Japan, this Jazz Bass boasts the same USA-made pickups that were also used in the Fullerton factory Fender reissues. A bass that will satisfy collectors and serious players alike. Weighing in at 4kg (8.8lbs) - lightish for a jazz. Theres a strong fundamental attack and acoustic resonance to this bass, and it's an instrument capable of great versatility. Roundwound 45-105 strings fitted. Slender 1 1/2" nut width. The thick slab rosewood fretboard boasts original slender vintage-style frets which are still in decent shape but showing light wear obviously. The bass plays cleanly and has responsive truss rod. On the headstock, the original reverse geared chrome tuning machines with clover buttons are intact, with the exception of a Fender Drop D' de-tuner replacement for the 'E' string - brilliant. I'm sorry I don't know where the original one is. It has a Pre-CBS style Jazz Bass logo, but I don't think its the original. Great feel, great warm balanced tone across the strings throughout. Welcome to try out before you buy - you wouldn't be disappointed. Good quality soft carry case included. Price reduced Geoff Coseley, West Midlands

Cheers. The Markbass Little Mark II is a stunning bass amp head that combines great sound, compact size, and light weight. The Little Mark II is Markbass' biggest seller and it's the flagship amp of the Markbass line. Its small size makes the Little Mark II easy to transport, yet with a 4-band EQ, VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter), its tone is nothing short of professional. The I/O includes an input that can handle both passive and active basses and an extra XLR balanced input for double bass pickups. Its Neutrik Speakon Combo out jacks work with 1/4" or Speakon speaker cables. A tuner out jack sends unbalanced signals to a tuner, amp, or recording equipment. Send and return effect jacks maintain your main signal even if something dies in your effects chain. For 2 years in a row, Little Mark II has been voted Best Bass Head by the readers of Bass Player Magazine. It also placed 3rd in poll's Best Value category. FEATURES

Solid state preamp analog bass head
Provides 300W RMS at 8 ohms, 500W RMS at 4 ohms
1/4" input jack works with active or passive basses
Balanced XLR on front for double bass pickups
Gain and Master volume controls
Clip warning light
EQ includes controls for Low, Mid Low, MId High, and High
VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) filters
Neutrik Speakon Combo out jacks for use with 1/4" or Speakon speaker cables
Balanced XLR out
Ground lift switch to eliminate hum
Tuner out sends unbalanced signal sent to a tuner, amp or recording equipment not needing a balanced signal
Effect Send and Return maintain signal even when effects fail
Dual-sided fiberglass PC boards with lined perforations for high-quality solder connections
Surface-mount components are silicon-sealed to isolate vibrations
Computer-grade pre-assembled ribbon connector cable harnesses and ribbons for noise-free operation
Integrated threaded posts for easy assembly/disassembly and added durability
500W of bass-kicking power in a small, portable bass head. 7. Also a different and more comfortable feel experience when playing through, compared to class Disposable amps.
 8. 250watts @ 4 ohm. Valve preamp. Made in UK. Truly great classic bass amp made by purely a bass amp manufacturer at the time. 250 watts might not seem much in today's world, but these amps are notably loud for their ratings - as most will testify. Features; 12 band graphic eq Dual band compressor. Valve pre 2 pre-shapes Effects loops with variable levels DI out Standby switch Sometimes when the amp is turned 'off' after use, it makes a few pops, which other users may support. 9. Nice condition and manageable weight for transporting. Gives a balanced overall tone with the tweeter and creates a wealth of low end. Its an 8 ohm cab with the speaker rated at 250W. Model NSP115(E) Sensitivity is excellent. Dimensions: 24-3/4"W x 17-1/4"H x 16-1/4"D Weight: 32lbs - 14.6 kg with option to carry one handed or two for final lift into boot. The speaker of course is fine and you are welcome to test here before you buy.
 10. Just shipped RH450 to Stephen. Received instant payment, good comms. Seems trustworthy guy. I've no issues dealing with him.
 11. Where's that?!
 12. Thanks for that but right over my head. Lost interest after second sentence. They still SOUND different to me. Can't beat the rawness of a normal speaker for live rock. - IMO
 13. There got to be a difference. I said it was my opinion, to my ears. I've tried Celestion replacement Neo 15 in standard cab - crap, MB poor, Vanderkley cabs - disappointed, Ashdown - crap. However I did try my Trace SMX250 in a BF Gen 3 cab and was knocked out, but, it was indoors and not at a gig. I'd love to purchase a pair of these, but again if Im disappointed I'd be losing a lot so it would be risky. So, I'm still hanging on to my Trace compact 15 and 2x10 13" deep with back-ache.
 14. Brace, brace, sounds like an airline pilot to me. It's the Neo speakers I can't get on with - they sound like meat and potatoes WITHOUT the veg.
 15. Excellent. Very good condition. New TE knobs of course. Geoff, Coseley, West Mids.
 16. Two colour sunburst with maple neck. As to be expected from a guitar of this age that has been used, there are a few marks on the body and the odd chip but nothing too sinister. In fact, in my opinion this gives any guitar character. Body date: July 82 Neck date: June 82 I think they are the original pickups as they have the 'raised A' pole pieces Reverse tuners, scratchplate, bridge, pots and capacitor seem correct. Weight: 4kg Nut width: 43mm The frets have minimal wear and have many years playing left in them. Sadly, the truss rod won't give anymore as there is still a slight dip in the neck. So, I'd prefer a buyer to assume the worst case of a broken truss rod. I have reflected this fault in the price. 105-45 Fitted It's still a joy to play and I used it last Saturday night at The Black Cross in Bromsgrove. It has a lovely warm full sound evenly balanced across the strings right up to the body. Includes Hiscox case.
 17. Cheers Bobby, a regrettable sale, best sound. Best Geoff
 18. 150W @ 4 ohm. Great tone, old school if you like - warm/middly and punchy. Nice condition. Powerful for its 150w rating. Price includes delivery UK mainland Welcome to test/pickup from here (Coseley, West Mids)
 19. I think you're in the wrong section for this chatter.
 20. A transformer that provides 'punch' unlike the tiddler in your 750.
 21. One with a transformer for starters
