2. Bass now SOLD!!!! Thanks Chris
3. OK. My email address is g t dl 07487 at blu eyo nder. co. uk. Thats "][email protected] I've split the email address just in case its blocked for some reason. - dont know how to add pictures on the site from here. Perhaps I'm getting old. That email address applies to anybody that wants more pics. Thanks
4. Mid - late 80's Musicman Stingray. Reluctant sale, unusual burst, its a great sound. The perspex sctatchplate has tiny splinters at the holding down screw positions which have developed naturally. Change the scratchplate? -why bother, its all original. Beautiful neck and I'm no carpenter - not the anaemic looking wood used today. Serial No. 26422 Please PM for additional photos as some wouldn't download. Can post but you are obviously welcome to try before you buy. I'm near Wolverhampton. £800 Thanks Geoff.
5. Any idea what wood the body is made of? I cant see it from the first link, unless I've missed it.
6. Hi, Still got the unit? Thanks, Geoff
7. I'm giving the amp an airing tomorrow night and then back into the pantry. Merry Christmas everybody.
8. Still here and probably back in the pantry.

12. Thanks sixdegrees. deanbean502, normally an amp with 2 x 6L6 power valves is 50watts. This has 4. The '100' in the amps name also refers to the valve output power - 100watts. You dont need any more power, just speakers. Cheers
13. OK, example of pots inside : 1377714, 1377716 These date to 16th week of 1977. I have highlighted about guts in an amp, you dont know what faulty repairs/circuitry, mods etc have gone on inside. Some get transformers changed which may alter the sound or power. These are the originals, so whoever buys will have a vintage/original/nice condition bassman example and you know what they say on'Flog It' about a nice piece. Email above) for further pics inside if required. Cheers, Geoff.
14. Thanks for that. I've been gigging for over 40 years and have had the lot. This is a 70's amp.
15. Tremblap, I'll remove the screws and draw out the chassis tomorrow, I'll need it for pics anyway, there may be a date in there. Try this www.superiormusic.com/page195.htm. What date do you prefer?
16. Naa, thanks for your interest, can't be bothered with the time to find an EXACT date. All the best.
17. No, NOT a re-issue. Made about 1977.
18. New power valves Svetlana Winged 'C' - best type (old ones thrown in). Re-biased for the new replacement valves and serviced. 19. Hi, How heavy is the bass? Thanks
20. I'm still looking for a Trace 2x10 cab - shallow depth 13" Thanks. Geoff
21. Boris, Hope you enjoyed the cab last night. feel gutted it went. Anyhow folks: I need a Trace Elliot 2x10 without horn. Anybody got one surplus to requirements. Will pay cash and sell my horned one later which as I say is the normal 17 deep and too big to squeeze onto the back seat of the car.
22. It's the compact cab one and 13" deep too.
23. BB, I also have a spare 1x15 Trace cab 300W vinyl. Id like £100. Thanks.
24. Yes I know it should be in wanted. I've a nice 2x10 200W Trace Elliot cab with adjustable horn, carpet covering, and perfect working order. The trouble is it is the 17" deep version (normal). I want the older one which is just 13" deep. It probably won't have a horn but I dont mind. I'm looking for as straight swap with a Trace 2x10 to match my shallow 1x15. I can't get the 17" deep 2x10 in my new car. Sorry, I cant sell this till I get a replacement, it's a fab cab but starting to scratch the car getting it on the back seat. I dont want to travel too far, you would be getting the better deal so I would expect you to travel, maybe two-thirds of the way. Cheers, Geoff
