Enjoy it, they are awesome basses & good to hear some feedback about FarEast guitars
sounds cool! I havn't seen another one like it unless its american

 4.
Good choice - enjoy it! I got my CIJ 75 Jazz from John @ FarEast, too. Great bass and great bloke to deal with. Now, try it with some TI flats!
Well mine says crafted in japan on the back of the neck and made in japan on the headstock and yes he's a good guy!
 5.
scrumptious, drool, drool....nice buy.
indeed!
 6. Just bought this Fender Jazz 75 Reissue MIJ off www.fareastguitars.co.uk for £695 It is probably the best bass i have played, and i even prefer it to a Ray. I would recommend this website to anyone looking to buy a used Fender made in japan. John Blackman is a great guy to deal with and he makes the process so simple! I don't understand how an american version of this is £1500 and i got this for less than £700! AND the condition is perfect across the whole guitar. Except for the smallest of scratches on the horn shown in the picture. Incredible. is all i have to say
 7. ahh thought so!
As far as I can recall it was all done in Logic Pro.
8. How did you do that remix? like, what program did you use?
 9. Very very good my friend! i love the way you play the acoustic!
 10. My friend struggled recording some of his tunes so i gave him a hand as i had recorded stuff before. So i recorded and mixed this for him, you will get a better effect if you plug headphones in for it. Its not got much bass in it but it would be good to see what you think of it. Cheers http://www.myspace.com/equationh or download from

 13.
hello, i was wondering if someone in the know can help me out. I've been offered one of these in a trade: http://www.dv247.com/guitars/fender-americ...al-maple--41165 Just wondering what they are worth? From the pictures I've seen, it's mint/unused with case tags etc. I'll be looking to flip it on, so want to make sure the trade value of it is in line with what I can potentially have to sell it for. cheers G
Around £950 i'd say
 14. Sold Pending Payment

 19.
GHS Bass Boomers at the moment. I buy whatever is on offer and only change strings once every few years, so won't claim to be any kind of expert!
ahh ok tar
 20.
I've had mine ten years and it's given a good acount of itself. A slim, fast neck, active, twin humbuckers. Excellent value!
awesome! just as a matter of interest what strings do you use? im trying to find a set that will last a long time and keep their tone :/
 21.
Can't believe I'm doing this but needs must. I only just got this from Jimmy Elliott in a trade. It's the nicest sounding Stingray I've ever played, the mahogany body and through body stringing seem to smooth out the sound somehow but still enable you to get down and dirty should you wish it. It's pretty close to mint, if I'm really picky (and those who've dealt with me in the past will know how anal I am about bass condition) the 5 ply scratch plate could do with a buff has it has a few swirlies, the machines could do with a polish and there's a bit of NiO deposit on the pole pieces. None of these would take more than an hours 'cleaning' to enable perfection to be restored. The C&G vintage 30th Anni case is also in pretty good nick with just a couple of small marks. So why am I thinking of parting with it. Well, it's not the lightest bass I've ever played, it comes in a shade under 10lbs and despite my love for it after an hour it's killing my old neck injury. I've just got to face up to the fact that I need to stick with well balanced basses less than 9lb in weight (in comparison my Overwater and Status feel like toys). So ideally as a trade I'd be looking for something <9lbs, in the same condition as the Ray, 4 strings, fretted and of a similar value. Something Jazz shaped and a bit special (Sad Metro, Lakky, WHY) would be great but I wouldn't rule out something with graphite. Hit me with some options the worst I can do is respond in the negative. If there's interest I'll post some pics but it looks 'exactly' like this:
sorry i'm an idiot, trade only my bad

 23.
A Washburn XB-400 was my first bass. I still have it and still play it regularly. Now I have seen how cheap they are secondhand, I'm hanging on to mine!
would you agree that they are actually surprisingly good!
 24. Hey people, after i get my new bass i will be looking to sell my Washburn xb120. Yes they are very affordable bass's however i reckon they are massively over looked for beginners. In all of the reviews i have seen for this bass people have praised it for its great tone. Another thing people said is that 'Affordable' does not mean you sacrifice quality. My bass is in very good condition but it has the odd tiny tiny dent but the finish is still perfect. Ill probably be asking around 100 quid for it, and ill wack on my old set of elixirs for you aswell. let me know if you may be interested cheers (p.s mine is electric blue)
 25.
I don't get a point, what you're trying to say.. Wattabout bass, it all comes to personal taste - yep, there maybe were better looking Prestiges out there (mine, for example.. ), but, from the playing and quality view - it's a cracking bass.
i'm just saying it is a pretty expensive piece of kit for a young guy
