Did you get hold of one? If not you can borrow one of mine. I have two CV's but neither have the HM bridge on them any more so i dont really need the Allen keys unless i sell the bridges.
Another question for you, sorry, what bridge did you replace it with, did you have to plug/re-drill, how easy was it to fit? I realise the screw holes aren't standard distance to each other. I like the hi-mass bridge (looks/sound) but prefer standard string spacing as my other basses are 19mm. Thanks.
As you have asked buddy im sure this isnt breaching forum rules. But as the head is going for 415 brand new I think you may want to rethink your asking price. But again I am only saying as you asked for input.
Yeah thats what I was thinking, last week it was on offer at Soundslive (i think) for £379 posted. As it was said input was req.

Was my Fiesta Red JV Squier P Bass Originally Black?
Cygnus x-1 replied to Donnyboy's topic in Bass Guitars
Probably a dumb question but, I've never been sure if fiesta red is or was a colour option in it's own right or a darker other red that had faded with age. Maybe someone will tell me. -
'Money' is quite fun to play though isn't it? I suppoose we should respect Waters for not writing overly complicated bass lines just because he was the bass player but sticking to the golden rule of creating what was right for the song.
I wholeheartedly agree with this, well put that man... -
I've had one of the fretless Squiers but I actually prefer my Vintage icon fretless Jazz. Link; http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/...ss-Sunburst/7BV

thanks guys,
You'll be happy to hear that BGM will be making available digital versions of the magazine to buy online, according to their website. I'd recommend buying issue 67, there's this guy.. Who errr, is on this forum.. And he was like, well wrote a 4 page article and it was ermmmm great! Oh, if only I could remember his name!!!!
Hi there, I used to get this mag but then was short of money for a time so stopped getting it. I just noticed the July 2011 issue 68 has Glenn Hughes on the front, he is one of my heroes, so I thought I would buy this issue. Anyhow, living in the sticks no newsagent in the two town's near me sell it anymore. It is on the BGM website as the current issue but how long has issue 68 been out? as its August now? If I don't manage to get a copy, does any member throw their copy away after reading it? If so, I would pay if anyone could post me a copy. Thanks, Nick

It was a black Jazz with no pickguard, you could just see the rout between the bridge pickup and control plate, I wondered about the tape over the make, maybe it was a Squier????

Hi, i'm looking for a Precision type 4 stringer BUT with a 1.5 in. nut width i.e. jazz width, my budget is £700 max, so the only contender I can find is the Fender deluxe active P. I would probably prefere passive given a choice. So, does anyone have any opinions or experiance of this bass either good or bad, or can anybody think of any alteratives within my budget with P style body/ jazz width neck. I think Lakland may do one in their Skyline range, but I can't find one for sale or the price, any help appreciated, cheers.

Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz for sale, beautifull sunburst, lovely neck, this bass is in super condition. Weight of bass 9.1 lbs. There is a choice of bridges; see pic 2 Bass with Wilkinson brass saddle bridge fitted £170 Bass with Gotoh 201 Hi mass bridge fitted £190 If you want the the black scratchplate then add £5 to cost (plate fits perfect but has not been drilled for screws, screws will be suplied) PLEASE NOTE. The photos were taken early in the morning and there are some strange looking shaddows! from the low sun, the black mark from the neck pickup to the top left of bass body is a shadow on the photo. The sunburst is really good on this bass, will send better photo if your really interested. MAY CONSIDER TRADE WITH 4 STRING FRETTED, CV PRECISION, VM PRECISION (NATURAL / MAPLE), TOKAI, RETROVIBE RICKENFAKER, CV JAMES JOHNSTON (BLUE) or FENDER PRECISION
