Hi All, I have a Fender Coronado II which has a problem with the 3 way toggle pickup switch - it won't stay in the top (or neck pickup) position and just flicks back to the middle position. If anyone has experience of repairing one of these switches, I'd appreciate knowing how much (ballpark) it might cost. My second question in 2 days, crikey my fingers are hurting Thanks again !

Thanks so far for all the tips / hints & advice ! All very gratefully received.

Hi All, Can anyone recommend a good vintage guitar shop (anywhere in the country) - my simple definition of good is that their noses grow very long when they tell fibs and they assume that negotiation is all part of the fun If you want to add to that simple criteria, please do ! Many thanks in advance...
Just spent a little time with Simon whilst picking up my new baby. Fender Musicmaster 1977 white with black pg .Gorgeous. Simon's a top man, nice cup of tea great chatter, could have spent a lot longer chewing the fat.Had to get back to pick wifey up from work. Thanks for making me so welcome mate. Why 035203?
Hi Paul and thanks for the feedback, you're a top bloke yourself and I really enjoyed our natter. It was great to meet you. 0353203 is a terrible 'handle' I know and perhaps I should change it to something more personal. Way back when the interweb was just getting going it was the first username 'given' to me by a banking site (back when you couldn't make up your own). Its been imprinted on my brain ever since and I use it all the time. Unfortunately its not as catchy as R2-D2 Cheers mate.

I recently sold mine on eBay - a pro is that they hold their value - I had a great deal of enquiries and it finally went to a guy in Italy who was also very happy with it.

Hi Robert from just down the road in Pyrford - almost as posh as Weybridge
You must possibly be refering to Chris..who now owns Intune Music in Camberley,i played in a band with him for a couple of years, really good musician..he played Keys and guitar then, but now plays bass. I will tell him next time i'm there LOL edit Found a pic..is this him?..and his shop is in Sandhurst, near Camberley.
Isn't that Steve Wright ? It could well be him, although I'm sure the glasses back then were more Ronnie Barker than Ronnie Lane. Anywaysup, feel free to tell him from me that I did eventually buy a fretless......and he was bloomin' well right all along ps. here's my other fav bass player. I found myself walking beside him along the new kings road before xmas - couldn't pluck up the courage to say anything, although not sure that's the done thing - has anyone ever just approached one of their heroes ? What on earth do you say ?!
Welcome from Bisley, I don't have any Jam stories I'm afraid, but I did frequent ABC in Addlestone on a Saturday morning during the early 70's. Craig
Hi Craig, Nice one - do you remember the bloke that seemed to me to be the manager (ie. he was the oldest) - looked like a cross between sgt bilko and eric morecambe ? I asked him if I could have a play on a fretless once and he said 'no, it'll be too difficult for you' - quite the salesman
