At nothing really in particular, just this general air of aggression in a few posts I thought, kind of the air where you're angry at something and that anger just happens to seem into other outlets.
Well,I am Bipolar, but the only time Ive been cheesed recently is either from 'Thisnameistaken' and his utterly contemptable thoughts upon function/working band bassists,or waynes misguided, fashion driven, dig at Ex Genesis Peter for not wanting to chop his song at an awards ceremony....which Wayne still has not clarified his point upon weather Peter playing the said song...cut... at the awards would be selling out? I am an angry poster,I know that,I used to rant..a f***ing lot,I try to change that, but then half the time people expect that...so..I cant win,so I dont bother. Still dont like the idea that 'I hate Warwicks' though, utterly untrue, that seems to have appeared recently, and the idea that I only post about myself...oh dear I have done..whoops..shame.. edit:thanks for telling me though.
 2.
I am all fingers and thumbs when it comes to Bass playing. Garry
3.
You've come across as a tad angry rather than blunt recently. S'no biggy, just an observation.
At what though?.....Im intrigued.
 4.
Sounds nice, I would say he listens to a lot of Seth Horan. Very similar style to me. Cheers Alun
Seth,via Facebook,introduced him to me.
 5.
Ah, so that's why you've been raging recently. Makes sense now.
Me,raging? at what.... I understand I have an (undeserved I feel) reputation for writing in a blunt fashion. But I dont think Ive been harsh in ages...months really...
 6. Still waiting,1st gig of the year in 2 weeks...after winter break, guitarists op,tour bookings...and promo pics. sick of waiting really.
 7. Who cares,f***ing sh*t rag fit only for the budgies cage.
 8.
Some geezer at one of our gigs a while ago said any bassist playing with a pick is not worthy of the name and shouldn't be let near a stage.
Next thing you get is some qunt saying that having more than 4 strings is bad.....Like a well run train service, its there ,always on time. I heard some 18 year old spout that and he was a student at the LSM. Fags, grow up,get lower, get a 5.
 9. U2? Lean to more like!
 10. Ive fond memories of my Satillite Copy...Old thruneck, heavy as hell,,got me through college!
 11. Didnt realise any of the Quireboys came from Brum.
 12.
Seems to me like he'd be better off with a stick rather than a bass really.
Why,I think the way he plays/writes wouldnt need the tapstyle of a stick.
 13. its just...sweet isnt it.
 14.
scrubs song: men at work - overkill that vid was good, kind of a reminded me of Simon and Garfunkel, nice to listen to
I hope the guys posts some more stuff.
 15.
Nice sound from his guitar there. Would make an excellent soundtrack to a disembowlment scene in "Dexter".
It makes me smile like that song that was in an episode of 'Scrubs'...some guy and a guitar..the opening line was Never found out what the song was called,or who wrote it,it just felt good. Update: Ive found it,its Colin Hay... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrGmcuj44DQ...feature=related

 17.
Phil Lynott for definite. I'd like to see someone put out a Louis Johnson signature bass, but I don't know what would be special about it!
Treker made a Louis Johnson sig Bass in the 90s
 18.
Possibly a better John Myung sig? It's not great at the mo, really boring.
Its at Myung's request, that the design is minimal.... I actually reckon the MKI is better in design and feel than the MKII..I see a few turn up on the Bay,but only in that odd turquiose blue colour. The Veneer top looks nice, but the pots are cheap, and need replacing (this is from when Ive played them 2nd hand)..the 35" scale is a nice touch,as were the twin P/U's...The MKII looks awful to my eye.
 19. Phil Lynott.......Black Rose,70s P-Bass with a mirror scratchplate.

RF is found opposite the Tigers stadium..training pitch/carpark,Galaxy is at the west end of Smawthorne lane. You could just watch Harrogate town/Railway....or have a peek at Darlo FC.
 21. Its helps if you have someone who does that for a living running the bookings
 22. Here we go,another 'I like.../No you are wrong' thread...
 23. Seriously though,Ive not seen too many digs at Bootsy,or Rainey,Duck,or Jamerson.
 24. Me My playing is superior, and beyond any question,Im professional, polite, and an all round good egg. Anyone found disagreeing with the above statement is either a gay,a woman,or a mental.
 25. Theres one venue...south of the M62,that both the good Dr and Adrenochrome...will know of,that the landlord likes stiffing people, and taking the piss...gets drunk, and f***s off upstairs, with the mumble to the barstaff "They are on £180..." WHEN they are on £250.... £300 for a new years gig?...... Theres another on the A64 that "Just dosent understand why bands want more than £130" Putting it straight fella...Pass the word....a c**ts a c***...and it needs to be told. There IS more than one venue in a town....you got stung, bad luck, get it in writing next time, and NEVER EVER EVER PLAY FOR FREE UNLESS its for a dying child.* *Make sure you have free drinks and BBQ.
