Thats phat amp cranking...its got to be..overdrive a underpowered head (I reckon a solid state) Don a Fender P, and rev it through a 2x15...ramp up the mids....

Oh I can smell the cheapo flock wallpaper in the rehearsal room..the beige school office seats...half filled ashtrays...

  2.
Imo you can't play metal with Fender's, and some hard rock isn't great either -.- That's personal opinion but still...
Based on what?

Steve Harris,Ian Hill,Frank Bello,Geezer Butler,Alex Webster....Pretty much all of their best work has been done on a Fender...Pretty much all good 4 string work is done on Fender in the Studio.

Warwick are a fly by night company that have a small habit of borrowing designs and instruments....compared to Fender, yes they do a good job,but Fender are still the producers main choice in most studio work in the 'Big' cities...Nashville,NY,LA,Memphis,Chicago...

Please tell me you are under 25.

  3. Indeed....Ritter,Carl Thompson..Alembic..everyones tried having a stab at The no1..

Its fun, causes a headline, but utter rubbish, what one player wants is different to another....Its the lines, not the tools that make the player.

  7.
I won't have a bad word said against the Norwegian wonder group A-ha. I think they are great and have them on my itouch. I wonder if I should be saying this in a cheesy metal thread.
Cheese?

It depends on what you define as 'Cheese'?

  8. f***ing 'ell BD...You will blast this gig sideways.....

How much dust will fly from your jeans...It'll take 20 years off you come the 1st chord....Rev up that classic valve fuzziness and watch the flashbacks.

    DO IT,NAIL IT,KICK ASS!

  9. Re-'poopcore'

You can/or rather did get Pungent Stench (Austrians) that had a really nasty fixation on 'Scat' (and we aint talking Jazz vox stylee here).

Swans (though not METAL) did create frequencies at gigs that caused punters to vomit spontaniously...

  10. I wonder if anyone here can actually double a blazing kick pattern with their fingers?

(Hint-hint..Can we talk techniques ,before we degenerate into mindless slanging of X bands or what band is in which genre..please)
