Nice simple fretless bass with a great setup and lots of mwah. Superb fingerboard access with extended cutaway. Active electronics, upgraded with an EMG pickup. EQ knobs currently disconnected, so priced with that in mind. There's one on eBay now for £265, so this is priced to sell. I rarely play fretless so thought I'd shift this to someone who'd like a very decent instrument. * Long Scale Active Bass * Canadian Maple & Mahogany Thru Neck * Unlined Ebony Fingerboard (has side dots) * Arched Flame Maple Body * Walnut Veneer & Mahogany Back * Diecast Black Nickel Bridge * EMG Pickup (upgraded from "East River" pickup) * Active preamp, EQ controls disconnected * Natural Open Pore Finish Photos: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ra7r46i43a44k04/AACrvpnROwf6MhOZMQHMO14ta?dl=0 Based in SE London. Would consider trades (with cash in appropriate direction) with Dingwall Super P or J, higher-end Precision or Jazz basses, PRS or Gibson ES339. Also have a few other items for sale or trade.

Fantastic bass with tight low B string. Not boomy, just even and tight. Easier to play than you'd think to look at it, most decent players are comfortable within a few minutes, * Very good condition with minor playing marks * Alder body, natural finish * 3-piece maple neck * Maple fingerboard with black position markers * 24-fret fanned fret system * 34-37" scale * Dingwall FD-3N pickups * Active preamp * Concealed jack socket * Dunlop straplock buttons * Removable pickguard and ramp (homemade, no screws) Photos: https://www.dropbox....ZMQHMO14ta?dl=0 Based in SE London. Four strings would have to be vintage-vibed (Precision or Jazz really), a little bit more open to fives or even sixes with more narrow spacings. I find myself heading back towards more vintage-vibed instruments these days. This one actually ticks most of my boxes, but my Sadowsky has spoiled me for weight etc.

Fantastic bass with tight low B string and all the right upgrades. John East J-Retro Deluxe preamp (over £200 on its own) absolutely transforms this bass and turns it into a tonal monster. Also has Warwick adjustable brass nut to tweak your setup (also makes open strings more even with fretted notes), Hipshot string retainer, custom tortoise pickguard (significantly nicer than the stock black). This bass looks and sounds the absolute business. * Excellent condition with very few marks * Satin Olympic White alder body * Maple neck * Rosewood fingerboard with 20-frets * 34" scale * Tappable humbucking pickups (split, series, parallel) * John East J-Retro Deluxe preamp upgrade with 3-band EQ, sweepable mid and passive tone control * Passive / active switch * Heavy duty Badass-style bridge * Warwick brass nut upgrade * Custom 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard Photos here: https://www.dropbox....ZMQHMO14ta?dl=0 Based in SE London. Cheers guys. Overall spacing at the nut is 35-36mm centre-to-centre, so about 9mm between strings. Overall spacing at the bridge is 64mm centre-to-centre, so about 16mm between strings. It's certainly on the narrow side for a 5-string; not quite as narrow as my custom Conklin 8-string which has 14mm spacing at the bridge, but narrower than my Dingwall which is 17.5mm at the bridge.
