  1. Super easy and slick transaction with Woolf, obtaining the TRB5P I’ve dreamed of since teenagerhood! Thank you.
  2. Sold me some lovely strings for my Hofner Violin. Thank you!
  3. Now sold, thank you @Happypants, hope your pants are now even happier.
  4. I have one of these in black. They are TERRIFIC basses. No less a heavyweight than first call session legend Nathan East is known to use one frequently in the studio.
  5. I got sent one of these (acoustic guitar version) by Slick Bags after a recommendation by @Steve Lawson who I believe endorses them, and they are really nice bags. If this doesn’t sell before I get paid next, I might have to think about it...
  6. More than fair - the main reason this one doesn’t get picked is because when I need a fiver I usually reach for my 3.8kg Sadowsky NYC... but then that’s a good 5-6 times the cost! And my Dingwall Super P5 is surprisingly actually a similar weight to this one. Ironically I’m tempted by the slightly heavier Yamaha that @woolf is selling...
  7. Yes, just weighed it for someone who’s interested: 9.36lb or 4.25kg on my luggage scales, so mid-weight for a fiver I’d say. Well-balanced though, which really helps.
  8. Also I’m guessing the second know isn’t mids, it’s pickup blend. The Sadowsky setup is usually roll down for neck pickup, roll up for bridge.
  9. Agree, look like Sadowsky knobs. The Sadowsky pre is boost only for the bass and treble, so with them all the way down, it should sound very similar passive and active.
  10. Not just the website, it is the correct conversion for 864mm. This is a cool instrument!
  11. Oh man, so tempted - this was my dream bass for ages. After any trades?
  12. Nathan East talks about his 80s BB3000 about 4 mins in - I didn’t know it was him on Footloose!
  13. Scale. Weight. Woods. Pickups. Electronics. Spacing.
  14. Going through this decision right now. Will be curious to hear others’ thoughts!
  15. Jay Nelson (Fender’s Custom Shop painter) posted this cool vid of him doing this finish on a scrap body. Really enjoy watching Jay paint, he’s obviously very good and is very happy giving all his secrets away. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CHo2Pv6pqM_/?igshid=1r9d5gg5m93kz
  16. I have a Gypsy Rose project that needs finishing if of interest, I have too many medium scale basses at this point.
  17. These are in the wrong category, this category is for complete basses.
