  1. Ruddy gorgeous, much prettier than the SRFF806 I had. I wish the slim SR necks didn’t give my hand cramps!
  2. Looks surprisingly decent!
  3. I considered one of these before installing a Sadowsky pre into my Super P to replace the Tone-Fusion pot!
  4. I have one of these for bass and one for guitar, and they go with me to virtually all my gigs. Superb cases.
  5. Thank you, @Bafflegab! We’d love this, but probably a little far from London unless anyone is coming this way.
  6. Basically an authentic Nate Mendel! Gorgeous.
  7. @solo4652 Even the rounded head on my Yamaha MB-III, I don’t love!
  8. @solo4652 Would have had that if it weren’t pointy!
  9. I tried one and liked it, but found it very heavy (I also had a full size Modern Player Jazz some time ago and it was 11lb).
  10. Looks great, @Danuman! I’d initially considered putting some Nordstrands in it; but to be honest mine is just getting a tort guard made, some new Elixirs on and then it will be perfect to leave as is.
  11. I really like my BB435, and have found myself reaching for it when heading out to gigs where the crowd might be a little rowdy. Holds its own in a collection that includes some pretty high-end stuff.
  12. For sale: 1960s Jaguar E-type and 1993 Ford Fiesta 1.0, must be picked up together
  13. That plate alone indicates Matsumoku factory.
  14. I met him too! Walked away with an NYC S-type...
  15. As it is, my Sadowsky doesn’t get played enough! Sadly I don’t think this will fit on that...
  16. Ah, I went the other way, started with a Combustion and found I am much more at home on Super scale, had a matching pair of Super J and Super P until the J got stolen in a burglary.
  17. I don’t even have a Jazz and I’m tempted.
  18. I’ve been curious about those for a while, would be very interested in comparing one to my Super P.
  19. Yeah I was pretty surprised too. I guess Jazz basses tend to sell more, but there has been a P resurgence of late.
  20. Worth a read, if you haven’t already.
  21. I waited a long time to get my medium scale 80s Squier P! It’s just amazing. @Rumple whom I bought it from had Gypsy Rose ones which he got quite inexpensively, but I never managed to find a decently priced one and then he sold me the Squier so I stopped looking.
  22. Sorry, he plays a P35 with Dunlop flats! Just saw him last night.
  23. That’s a very straightforward repair for a decent tech. You could even do it yourself with glue and a clamp.
