  1. He’s such a nice guy in real life too - when I bought my Strat, he set it up and signed the headstock for me. Miss that guitar, hope they catch the thieves and recover it.
  2. My Super J had one, made it much easier to play!
  3. @ianrendall Was this you that Roger just gave a shoutout to? https://www.facebook.com/100002123570960/posts/2190944757652955/
  4. Is that the Uberhorn in your avatar? It looks absolutely stunning.
  5. I had my 64P refinished and restored by Bravewood Guitars. He is as good as it gets IMO.
  6. Price reduced to £700 collected for this rare six string Jazz. Try me with offers! (ideally a medium scale Precision or DC45 sized Nordstrand six-string pickups)
  7. It could be a lightweight wood like basswood or pawlonia or something?
  8. I still find it hard to believe they’d use MDF. It’s really heavy stuff, and the whole point of cavities is to make the thing lighter so this would work against that purpose. Plus, you just need a little bit of moisture through a screw hole or something and the whole thing would just warp.
  9. I’ve definitely had guitars where the cavities looks rough like this. Harder to sand and polish those interior bits after finishing I guess! I’ve always thought MDF was heavier than wood and also absorbs finish poorly - but I’m definitely not a carpenter!
  10. Glad to receive a Status update! ... I’ll get me coat
  11. Tone cavities probably means that it consists of several layers of wood, with the middle layer routed out to hollow it.
  12. Is it definitely not just a rough edge on a rout that was done in stages, shallow first, then deeper etc?
  13. Bit of a bargain short scale, this. The strings alone are worth a quarter that, surely.
  14. Which acoustic 32” do you have?
  15. There are two, the Super J and Super P. Had a matched pair of both and they are glorious.
  16. I think these photos are of the same bass. https://www.clementbass.com/gallery/nggallery/the-singlecut-family/clement-180
  17. You’re in for a treat. My Sadowsky NYC Strat was a work of art, and in a similar colour and wood scheme too.
  18. It’s on sale this month at the Vulfpeck website.
