I had a Combustion first which has the 37-34” scale. I don’t remember an adjustment period at all. I now play the Super scale which is 35-32” and find it supremely comfy.
The sustain is probably the physical instrument as well. I personally find Barts a little dark. I will say that Nordstrands brought my Sadowsky and medium scale Jazz to life (the Jazz has an East J-Retro Deluxe in it).
Bravewood will only work on pre-CBS Fenders, or of course their own creations. Wasn’t sure if the OP wanted a luthier that’s crafts relics, or a relicing service!
