  1. Ugh, so tempting and I’m gigging in MK on Saturday.
  2. The finest modern Ps - love mine.
  3. Rich is one of the sickest bass players in the country and a supremely nice guy, deal with absolute confidence folks! The only bad thing I have to say about him is that it’s his fault that I had to have a Noble Preamp on my board 😂
  4. I have an Audi A5 coupe. The problem is the way my seats fold forward, and also the size of the boot lid - can’t physically get a double bass into the back. You can just about get it into the passenger seat, but you have to choose between being able to see or being able to shift gears, so it’s really not ideal. The Eminence goes in the back seat without breaking a sweat, and I can fit an amp in the boot without too much trouble. I’ve brought a full PA in the car with it!
  5. 😂 That’s why I got your Eminence! It’s been a lifesaver.
  6. I gassed for one every time I tried to fit the damn thing in my car!
  7. That’s quite the collection!!
  8. Damn. If you ever sell that...
  9. I guess the main obstacle there is the cost of tooling, but looks like these guys have figured that out.
  10. I think you might have a problem, @AndyTravis 😂 Bargain price though!
  11. It is nitro. I’ve never seen a poly relic job that looks convincing to me.
  12. If you’re looking for someone to do relicing, this guy does some cool work. https://www.instagram.com/relicartguitares
  13. Micro Mesh is excellent - I’ve used it to satin necks and also to polish frets.
  14. Does the bridge have string through option?
  15. Oops, for some reason I just didn’t spot it!
  16. The P pickup is closer to the neck than a Fender, or are my eyes wonky?
  17. If you do get down to bare wood, you could always oil it.
  18. That harp guitar!
  19. I had a Combustion first which has the 37-34” scale. I don’t remember an adjustment period at all. I now play the Super scale which is 35-32” and find it supremely comfy.
  20. Sheldon Dingwall explains it here.
  21. The sustain is probably the physical instrument as well. I personally find Barts a little dark. I will say that Nordstrands brought my Sadowsky and medium scale Jazz to life (the Jazz has an East J-Retro Deluxe in it).
  22. Shortscales are lots of fun, I still have an MIJ Mustang and a Hofner Violin. I think my sweet spot is medium scale, worth trying those too.
