1.
If you want to refinish it, it's now or never. Why ? Because nitrocellulosic colours are simply not made anymore and those stocking them are keeping them or selling them like liquid gold.
This is news to me...!
2. Joe just purchased my Japanese Precision, both of us were very happy with the transaction. Easy comms and lovely chap.
3. If I were you I would email John at Bravewood and see about a refinish (and relic to your taste). He did my 61 - have had it side by side with an unmolested one and his work is superb - and he now has my 64.
4.
Closest you'll get is probably this: http://www.rondomusic.com/hxb40534natq.html Although fully appreciate it's 30" rather than 32" Si
I would totally get that if it were available here! Was looking at one of the Wingbass 30" sixers the other day.
5. Interesting. If it doesn't say MIJ, I'd guess it's really Chinese made... not that that's necessarily bad.
6. Wow, that's got me thinking...! How much does the course cost?
7. I didn't think that was editable. Learn something new every day.
8.
'Twas a long feeler
Somewhat half hearted, I'll admit.
9.
major price drop
... to...?
10. Still have this for some reason. Not really desperate to move it, but would consider trades for an Xotic or Sadowsky P, or part ex for a medium scale P or sixer.
11. Still here. Not really after trades at the moment, except possibly a medium scale Precision or a Thunderfunk amp head.

G-bitch

Bought a lovely gig bag from him that I'd been searching for for YEARS. Very helpful and a gent.
13.
Crunch - that's the sound of me hitting my bottom line. I bought this for £750 10 years ago - not going to go any lower. Grab yourself a gorgeous well-aged ABG!
I'm probably missing something here - but the ad says £950 and you bought it for £750 ten years ago and won't go any lower? Normally people sell their 10-year-old basses for less than they bought them for, unless they're pre-CBS vintage Fenders...
14. Picked up Rumple's medium scale Fender Jazz a couple days ago, and it's brilliant. Got me thinking... Anyone know of any decent, affordable 32" sixers with narrow string spacing? I tried Steve Lawson's Elrick signature and really liked it (33" scale, 16.5mm spacing), but I don't have 3 grand to drop on one. I suppose a custom Marusczyk is an option, but would be interesting if there is already a production model around.
15. Oh man... a 32" and 16.5 sixer is exactly what I'm looking for!
16.
Im in the US, price is shipped worldwide
Beware CITES and import duty will affect the decisions of many UK buyers.
17. Some specifications are probably going to be handy. Pickups, electronics, weight, scale, woods...

Rumple

Possibly the quickest transaction ever - about four hours from announcing availability to pickup! Dave was a true gent. Would happily deal again!
19. Oh, I do love and want it. I just can't quite afford it!
20. I had one of these in white with a John East J-Retro Deluxe and coil taps, and it was a monster bass. Only sold it to fund a Dingwall.
