    Take a break and try something that is vaguely related, maybe some basic piano or a brass instrument?

    For the covers band we all come up with suggestions, see what is doable and apply that most volatile of things, an audience perception filter. I think it would be fair to say we have a pretty reasonable right to wrong ratio so far. That having been said I think it's also fair to say we have some safe choices on the set list.

    I don't know if they come in other varieties as the Hipshot site only lists Nickel, Gold & Black. So therefore they must be nickel I guess.

    The Fender 9050CLs I use on occasion have quite a bright green coloured silk wrap.

    I saw Panic Room do a version of Enter Sandman re titled as Enter Santa that was very entertaining. This was a few years ago but not heard them do it since.

    Hi all I recently acquired these from Higgie of this parish to try on a MIK bass. Sadly they didn't fit without more drilling than I wanted to do so back up for sale again. These are in virtually as new condition and come with all screws for mounting to the bass. The HB7 and BT7 are made to retrofit directly to Mexican Fender Basses, but would also be perfect for a parts build or custom job. A new set of the same parts would set you back about £140 + P&P so grab yourself a great deal.     Congratulations, great looking bass. With a bit of luck in the next month or so I am hoping to take possession of a Geddy Lee style bass myself. Not MIJ or MIM, neither MIA nor custom shop....

    What Tom said ^ Note that they are not standard sizes and whilst I'm sure the B series are available to buy, I'm not sure whether the MC series can be purhased in this way.
