2. We used to have one and it went fine. Just make sure the rules are clear to all at the outset.
3. Thank you kind sir, most generous of you.
4. NOW SOLD THANKS For sale is my Boss CEB-3 chorus. This was bought a few months ago on a bit of a whim to be honest and has sat in my drawer ever since. It is in excellent condition. £45 posted UK mainland. I'll add some pictures either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for looking.
5. Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass 5-string – Very good condition - NOW SOLD ELSEWHERE THANKS In 'standard' form the market seem to be at around £220 for these basses. This one has around £160 worth of upgrades so I'm looking for £300. I will consider reasonable offers of course. For sale is my Squier VM Precision 5-string bass. The serial number is ICS16117439 indicating a bass from the Cort factory in Indonesia made in 2016. These basses get a lot of love on here and this one is surplus to requirements for me and is just not getting played enough anymore This bass represents great value for money in that it is an inexpensive way to get a decent quality 5-string bass. These basses have an Agathis body and a one-piece maple neck. The finish is a very classy 3-Tone Sun Burst. I have made some well chose upgrades to the bass as follows: • A custom black/white/black pickguard made in the USA (original tort pickguard will be included • Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pounder pickup (the original is currently on loan to Barefaced but will be included and forwarded on when I get it back) • Kiogon electronics including a Switchcraft jack socket and quality pots • Fender padded gig bag The bass is in excellent condition and has been played mostly at home and rehearsal, with only a few gigs to its credit. If you have any questions at all, or require additional pictures of any details please ask away and I give as comprehensive an answer as I am able. Collection is preferred. Alternatively I would be happy to arrange to meet up for a modest contribution to fuel costs. If that is all to tricky I would be happy to pack the bass up very well (I have good quality boxes) and for you to arrange a courier. Thanks for looking.
6. I can certainly vouch for the Cali II basses; I've a Cali II TT and a VS and both are very well put together with probably the best necks I've come across. GLWTS
7. Here are mine. Plus some natural finish ones. 8. This is quite black too. [sharedmedia=core:attachments:248407]
9. Worked for me, I just searched for headless bass without the additional gubbins.

11. I played the violin to a pretty decent standard when I was younger (with dots), however didn't have too many issues leaning stuff to play without them when I picked up the bass. Just takes a bit of time and maybe a few simple tunes to start with.
12. I didn't start until I was 46 so no issues at all.
13. Welcome indeed, there are a few Lancastrians on here.
14. Adrian recently purchased some pickups from me. Very smooth transaction, PMs a-plenty, all good. Top banana, deal in complete confidence.
15. I suppose I had better bump this :-(
16.
Done. And don't worry Froggy... GAS can't be cured, only suppressed
When I flashed past this post on the way down to the reply box I thought it said GAS could only be cured by suppositories That would be a concern. Done by the way. Why the Q on kids living at home?
17.
Never heard of him.

Same here. I don`t really go a bundle on sig instruments, that said I`ve had Fender Mike Dirnt, Duff McKagan & Dee Dee Ramone Sig basses - still got the Dee Dee. Probably bought them more for the reviews than for sounding like the artist though, whatever bass I have I set it with my sound, not anyone elses. The Dee Dee is a fantastic Precision though, it`s surplus to requirements so I`m offloading - buyer lined up already - but it really is a great bass, the neck is chunk-tastic.
https://en.wikipedia...obbie_Robertson Played with and wrote many good songs for The Band
18. I think the optimum for me would be V/V/T with a kill switch. However if you have the noiseless p/ups then V/T/4-way switch giving neck only/both parallel/both series/bridge only options works well for four instant tone changes. Personally not a fan of the stacked knob J bass setup. YMMV of course
19. I know, seriously tough decision and if nobody bites I'll be completely un-gutted
20. Now with added pictureness.
